Love Hellmans
Arrived in great shape. Love Hellmans light mayo! You can only find the small jars in the store so I'm happy I found it. Exp. Date is Jan 2026

I love Hellmanns
This is the only light mayo I like. It tastes more like regular Mayo to me. Good sized jar at a fair price.

Big tub of healthier mayo
If you love mayo but want a healthier alternative, I highly suggest you give this light mayo a try! I have recently started getting into making sandwiches for lunch as a quick and easy lunch alternative. This tub of mayo has gotten a lot of love during my sandwich making phase, and to be honest, I am not a huge mayo fanatic, so I can't really tell the difference between the usual mayo versus this light version. The smell, texture, and taste are all pretty similar to the original to the point where my taste buds aren't able to distinguish the difference. I got a pretty good bang for my buck considering how big of a tub I received! The mayo has that typical smooth mayo texture, and I haven't noticed any separation since opening it.

Nice light mayo but nothing beats the real thing
It is good but not really better than the store brand I usually get. It was a good price though so I may get it again.

Bring out the Hellman's and bring out the best!
Bring out the Hellman's and bring out the best! I do sprints of Keto and very low carbs like less than 80 (while actively bodybuilding,) so I really enjoy my fats, all types mono and saturated (except PUFA's) from sources like Avocado, butter, milk, aged cheese, EVOO, whole eggs and grass feed / finished beef. With that said, Hellmans (or Best Foods depending on your region) uses a heavily processed seed oil which is soybean oil. The soybean oil is my Achilles heel, I just love that in Mayo on Ham and Cheese, Cheeseburgers and macaroni/egg salads. Yes, it's a bad oil, but once-in-awhile, it's ok, no one needs to be the healthiest person in their grave. With that said, if your used to the delicious Hellman's regular mayo, this will taste slightly different and your body will know it's getting less fat calories (leptin receptors in your adipose tissues will not respond the same with less fat coming in if your used to certain amount of fat per meal.) The tastes is a bit different on it's own (like trying it straight on a spoon) but when on food, it would be similar, but less filling/satisfying. So, if you're trying to reduce fat or you want fat (like if you're on keto,) but less bad fat but still want that mayo with soybean oil, this is a good choice, and after awhile, you'll adjust to this version and wont think twice about it, but just give your body time to adjust, it may take 8-12 meals with this to reset your body to the light version as well as your taste receptors.

Yum
This is a very large jar of mayonnaise! I only use light or olive oil-based mayo now, and Hellman's is my favorite. This size allowed us to pack just one jar for beach week, when lots of sandwiches and food prep were going on for a crowd of family. Hellman's never disappoints, and this tasted just as good as always.

Fooled hubby
I'm not a 'mayo girl', but hubby slathers this stuff on everything. Hellman's is his favorite brand, but so is the full fat version. So as part of our 'new product testing', I decided to remove the label so 'what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him'. I made macaroni salad, chicken salad and all kinds of sandwiches with this low fat version. And guess what - he had no idea whatsoever. The taste, quality, thickness, creaminess, etc - all of those things were SO identical to the original version, he had absolutely no idea he was eating something healthier! Not as large as the Costco/Sam's version, but large enough that I don't have to purchase a jar every week. So I love the mid-range size of this jar.

Less Fat and Calories
I'm going to admit it, I love mayo. So light mayo is the way to go to be slightly healthier as I'm always finding excuses to put it on stuff. Still tastes great and easily spreadable like the normal version. I compared the nutrition facts to the normal version and this is less than half the calories and a lot less fat, but somehow it does have slightly more sodium and carbs though. Overall still better, but that's weird.
