I use this burner for my Syphon Coffee Brewer and absolutely love it over a wick heat source. The heat output on this thing is amazing, allowing for a timely brew and fits snug under a syphon to provide for a clean look. One thing with the wick heat sources is the awful smell they let off, but this burner lets off no smell, which has been amazing to brew in home!

These are the best portable Bunsen burners I have ever used. Easily controllable heat and they can get very hot!

I'm getting started in mycology lab work, and was very frustrated with heat sources to sterilize my lab knives, and syringe needles. . . . . . . pathetic alcohol lamp, a mini butane torch, etc. Just couldn't get a wide enough flame to see my needle or knife blade for proper heating. This burner is a huge upgrade! Extremely well built, and has a variable flame that makes heating mycology instruments a breeze!!

ive had this for a couple months and its used daily to make vacuum coffee. the only bad part so far is the knob is no longer as precise as it was initially in tuning the flame. i may lubricate it with something.

All the info you read about the product online says good for indoor use. BUT when you receive the product in the WARNING material provided, it says OUTDOOR USE ONLY. So there is a definite disconnect there, unfortunately I will have to return the product.

What else is there to say? It’s a no-nonsense butane burner that’s very easy to fill up and very easy to ignite. The flame’s adjustable and i haven’t had any issue with the mechanism, unlike others. I love how you ignite the spark by pushing the knob as a button - most require you to spark by turning the knob all the way to full blast.The only downside on this one is it’s rather loud. On full blast its comparable to a floor fan on high, and on the lower end it’s comparable to a small desk fan. For culinary use this is fine, but if you’re planning on doing something ceremonial with it this may not be the burner for you.

This stove is great. Very sturdy and well built. The gas knob is easy to control the flame and lights quite easily. (Unlike other stove I own that the valve is Very touchy.) This stove burns a long time and best of all. It can be filled with a standard butane stove canister, not needing a small, more expensive lighter refill bottle. There is also a refill valve on the top that looks like it will take a small refill nozzle. I was not able to get 50 grams but I bet if you froze the stove and warmed the butane canister, you probably could. I got around 40 grams in, though.

I purchased this burner to roast green coffee beans in small batches and it works like it is supposed to. I have used it a few times with no issues so long term durability remains to be seen. The refill process is simple enough although there is no tight seal when filling up the burner with butane. So you may smell a little bit of gas when refilling. One inconvenience is that you dont know how much butane is in the burner or when to stop refilling it, so its all guesswork for me.
