This eraser is fantastic and really saved my suede coat. I wore my beautiful suede/leather reversible coat (that I got from Florence Italy last summer which costed close to 2K) and got a couple of small stains on one sleeve. I googled on how to clean suede/leather coat and tried using a regular white pencil eraser to remove the stains with not much success. Then I found the eraser on Amazon with great reviews. I used the eraser and gently rubbed the stains repeatedly and the stains were almost all gone! I am super impressed and happy that I bought this eraser and it really works! It’s a live saver for my suede coat for sure!

I recently bought a nice suede bomber jacket from Quince and got a stain on it. After several hours of research, I settled on getting some Saphir products including the gommadin eraser. Let me tell you - the gommadin eraser is worth every penny. It eradicates minor/moderate stains with no issue, and I'd imagine this eraser will last years even with heavy use. It even helped to minimize an oil stain that I got on my suede jacket.Don't be fooled into thinking a suede/crepe brush will do the trick - get this eraser. Buy once, cry once!

Dear Saphir,This eraser works really well on my Grant Stone Midnight suede Ottawa’s that I wear on a daily basis. I also have a pair of Thursday shadow grey suede Cavalier’s but I have not worn them outside or longer than trying them on for their fit. I have used this eraser on my GS’s and they work well. They do breakdown kinda fast and leaves a lot of shavings behind after you try to erase a stain. I have used it a few times and they do their job but it doesn’t seem like they will last a long time but you can tell they do what they were designed to do. They keep my midnight suede Ottawa’s clean and stain free for the most part.I don’t like how much shavings get created from trying to remove one stain. You can tell that this eraser is not as harsh on suede as other erasers are on the article be it shoes/boots/jackets/purses etc, which is great in terms of longevity on your suede items. It’s just annoying to clean up. I would recommend putting newspaper underneath you while using the eraser or do it over a trash can because it will leave a lot of shaving behind because of how soft it is on your suede; again, a “ good thing” and I will continue to use it on my suede pieces. Check my 3rd photo. It’s how much is left after only using it about 6 times to remove stains. I don’t think this eraser will last that long but that’s ok because it works and does its job in keeping my suede boots looking fresh.Thanks in advance!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this in combination with a small nubuck brush, and this combination has worked wonders on my light nubuck Pottery Barn couch! I was worried that the eraser would not be color fast, as I have had that experience with other new book products in the past. But, this has proved to be an easy, fast, effective, and safe option for keeping my couch spotless! The brush I pared this with is the Shacke suede & nubuck 4-way leather brush cleaner.

This giant rubber eraser with something abrasive in it is great step in cleaning and restoring Nuback shoes. I have struggled with getting Nuback shoes cleaned for obvious reasons. It is hard to remove oil stains stills and ground in dirt. Well this will remove most of the dirt and some of the oil stains but anything that is too deep will require more tools to remove the offending oil. but as a "Step 2" in getting Nuback cleaned this is a great tool.

It removed multiple suede stains without any damage. A must have for a show kit.
