I needed some large pro brushes and these fill the need. They are easy to clean and create a nice wash of color. Good value for the money.

The brushes are OK. They smelled really bad coming out of box. I am disappointed because they didn’t hold much water - I bought them strictly for applying a wash of water to watercolor paper because the description mentioned they were suitable for that use... Not really. But the bristles are nice and springy.

As a professional artist, I love using these brushes for blending acrylic paints. They’re soft enough to make blending look seamless and saves time with wide canvas coverage. You can see blending in my attached artworks. The only issue I had is that the metal/brush part comes easily apart from the handle if you dip the brush in water. It’s like they didn’t use strong enough glue. I had to glue them back together after 5 uses. Otherwise they’re great. Good luck artists!

I think they invested more in the box than the brushes. During my FIRST use, the ferrule detached from the handle of one of the brushes. At best these brushes should be no more than $3 - $5 each. I will use them, but suspect it will not be for very long.

So although the brush has "Pro" written on it, I can assure you it's not...The first time I used it the handle fell off, but I was able to reattach it using REAL glue and NOT the hot glue they used originally which didn't work so well...Other than that it's not a bad purchase, just another disappointment from China...

These brushes are well constructed and the largest one is especially helpful for laying down a wash on watercolor paper. My reason for only four stars is that the bristles tend to separate just a little bit at the ends when wet. The paint washes out well and cleanly from the bristles. I'm very pleased with them in general.
