Bought or Hi-Fi system, still quite noisy though
I thought using the optical would stop my Sony TV from sending noise into the DVD box (which has analogue outs to the amplifier). So normal HDMI cables would give a constant buzz/hiss noise from the amplifier when playing CDs etc (Pioneer LX800). Using these cables instead, you get a slightly louder buzz every second or so... So not quieter for my purposes, but I'm guessing these cables are for longer runs in home cinema or something. Anyway, maybe some sort of galvanic isolation HDMI solution would be better, but these are good cables, just didn't solve my problem. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Completes Your 4K Package
Overall I was really pleased with These and I could see The difference in picture Quality as soon as I connected Them up. There really designed for your 4K player and help To bring out That extra depth and colour when you play a 4K movie from your player. its no real beef That 4K movies can sometimes look a little darker when playing Than say a standard Blu-ray movie which was The problem I was experiencing. even Though I had The 4K TV and player and it always states on The back of your 4K movies packaging That you need To update your HDMI Cable I somehow seemed To ignore This. perhaps at The Time Thinking I had spent enough on my 4K equipment. finally purchasing This I am glad I did. My 4K movies now look I suspect as They should do colours are more richer and Those night Times scenes more solid and visible. Quite easy To connect Though you need To make sure you connect the right ends into your appliances. These however are clearly marked for you on The ends of your cables. mine run from my TV into my 4K Player full instructions on The actual performance of The HDMI cables are enclosed so you get a clear understanding of Their function. admit for an HDMI cable They are a little bit on The pricey side Though be it you will only need To buy Them once. if you have been experiencing The same problems I had when playing a 4K movie Then These cables should solve That problem for you. overall Highly recommended.

The Best AV Headache Cure There Is.
Having used a 7m copper HDMI cable for my PC setup for many years with no issue, it became a slight annoyance that after moving i needed a 10m cable to reach from my PC desk to the living room TV. The first cable i brought cheap from that auction site didn't work, so I spent more money on a high quality v2 cable with exactly the same results. it managed to send the lower resolutions, but refused to work with 4K. This is when my headache began. I started checking the signal boosters, but found most of these did not support 4K, nor the HDCP 2.2 pass through.Being a tech savvy guy i thought i had exhausted my options until i discovered the fiber optic version of a HDMI cable. Being fully aware of how fiber optics worked, i knew straight away this would be my solution. I remembered the original use of fiber cables was for 5.1 audio, via SPDIF, which itself is almost obsolete these days. I imagine these cables must be something of a new breed, as searching around online these cables are scarce and extremely expensive where these Amazon ones are literally half the price, but do the same job.I can confirm that this will solve your cable woes. Its worth pointing out that the cable only works one way round, so make sure you check the connectors that each end are in the right ports. Also, like with all fiber optics avoid running it anywhere that could be trodden on regularly and avoid sharp bends in the cable. The cable is well made, but won't be indestructible.

Didn't work as expected
I bought the 15m cable to run a PC to a TV for watching 4kHDR films and playing 4kHDR game's. Although the picture was perfect, (this cable removed the fuzz in blacks and aloud the pc to recognise the HDR properties of my TV) it would still lose the handshake constantly when doing either thing I bought it for. Making it unusable. I have had success in the handshake but I've had to drop the resolution to 2k for HDR to work properly.

These send the crucial signal back to a camera from a Blackmagic ATEM Mini for camera control.
I love these cables. I bought several brands to try using with my live stream set-ups where, crucially, you need to be able to connect a camera over HDMI that may be a very long way away from the switcher. No standard cable is going to do that past 10 meters without issues, but I have these fibre optic cables in lengths right up to 100 meters and they're flawless. The second and equally crucial thing is that these cables, which traditionally only send the signal one direction, can send a camera control signal in the opposite direction - from the Blackmagic ATEM switcher to a Blackmagic camera at the other end to allow control of important settings like aperture, focus, ISO and more. Several brands I tried initially could not do this.I also really appreciate the fact that these cables are well tested for breaks if they are kinked or bent as reliability in livestream situations where they may get staged or stepped-on is really important.

Works great with Sky Q
I bought this 20m fibre optic HDMI cable to replace a long HDMI ethernet extender. Whilst this setup worked great with Sky HD, I guess because of the amount of data sent over the cable, it didn't work well with Sky Q, with poor image quality and sometimes image loss. Unfortunately, I've had issues with stable image quality with standard HDMI cables over this distance, so I tried this fibre optic cable instead. Suffice to say it works great! The image quality is perfect, with no visible degradation. The cable itself is well built and the HDMI connectors themselves feel solid.A great purchase if you're in need of a long HDMI cable between your Sky Q box and your TV
