Electop USB 3.1 Type C Female to USB A Male Adapter (2 Pack), Type A to C USB 3.1 Female to USB A Female Adapter Converter Support Data Sync and Charging

So I bought this because I didn’t want to buy a new cord just to have in my car.I have an aftermarket radio in my car (installed myself)It has android auto and car play.However my android (at the time) used Type C to type C charging.The usb jacks on the radio were regular usb (like the ones found on desktop computers)With that being said, I didn’t want to buy a new cable just because of that.So instead, I bought this adapter.It works for android auto. Confirmed.About 6 months later I bought a Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max.And again, uses type C but to lightning cable. (Thanks Apple)So ultimately, this saved me from needing to buy two cables.It works with Android Auto AND Apple Car Play.However, I’m not sure how I managed to do this, but one of these “bent”So the casing around the usb plug looks like it’s going to pop off…but hey it still works!Ultimately, for the price, I can’t complain what so ever. Its stable, It fits where it needs to fit. It’s size is not too big, nor too small.

I had bought a J5 Create USB-C hub JCA374 for my laptop. That type of hub has a single USB-C port which is really only supposed to be used to supply power. However my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ smartphone came with USB-C earphones that I would also have liked to connect to this hub during teleconferences. The "Electop USB 3.1 Type C Female to USB A Male Adapter" enables me to plug the earphones into either of the hub's USB-A receptacles. These adapters fit snugly, look great, and work great for audio! 😁

The adapter does work with my USB hub, to connect mouse, keyboard and type-A security key.Tried charging my HP Chromebook through it. Does not do that, tried both directions. It is possible that the Chromebook will only charge through the type-C connectors. It's also possible that the spec is not quite compatible, I can't tell.It also does not support USB-C to DVI cable to an external monitor. I was not expecting it would, but did it for science.

And best in a pair. One to use and one for back up or travel.I honestly thought for the price that these would be really flimsy. They are not. They are heavy and sturdy. GREAT for the price.

This adapter does require the correct direction to get USB 3.0. However If I use on ports on my pc where an A to C USB 3.0 cable works fine this cable sometimes will not go above USB 2.0. I was able to find one port on my PC that I could still retain USB 3.0 if plugged in the correct way. Its odd that it depends on what port its plugged into. Overall I give 3 stars.

So many options for this adapter had me shopping for days on top of days... Finally, I decided on this highly rated product based on reviews. So far, it's turned out to be a solid purchase. Literally. The aluminum or whatever metal casing used for the adapter is not only stylish but seems durable. The rapid charging option is compatible with this item as well. The only thing I need to try out is the data transfer option. Curious how quickly files can be sent from one device to another.

The media could not be loaded.  Connector is tough enough still it slides the cable away as it is very loose.Need to check with other cable, still I feel sturdy.

These are currently my favorite fast USB A to USB C adapters I use, together with the previous generation UGREEN block type adapters. They are easy to store and reach top speeds under Win10 and CentOS.And they make for a really good mechanical connection.Love them.

Adaptors are must have items in the kit. This was good quality at fair price.
