NOTE: I received a free sample of this item to review.I love storage bins! I am particularly partial to the flexible, collapsible type such as this one, as they are so convenient for using in drawers, in the bathroom, and for miscellaneous needs (I have many such bins in my exercise room).This Newisland brand bin is better quality than any of the others I own (although it is also more expensive). While my other bins are mostly fabric, the material of this bin is thicker--i.e., similar to the canvas that would be used for a backpack. It also has more structure with a firm, removable bottom and internal metal struts which form the cube when opened. Finally, this bin is HUGE! I had expected it to be a small square (admittedly, I didn't read the dimensions closely), but it is actually over a foot (14") on all sides, offering plenty of storage. It's great that the bin has carry handles on either side, although it isn't QUITE stiff enough to carry unless it was full (say, with blankets or toys). The bin also comes with its own zip storage case, another great feature. (However, because the bin was folded in the case upon arrival, there were noticeable creases all over the fabric.)I received the owl design. It's bright and cute, although the cartoon is painted/pressed on, and I wonder if it might peel off in time. Otherwise, I believe that the construction is solid and durable. I also know that it cleans well, as my bin arrived with a large black smudge on the inside; luckily, I was able to clean it off with mostly water (and a bit of dishwashing liquid).With its bright colors and cutesy designs, I think that this product was mainly intended for children's spaces. However, it is the parents who will really appreciate what this bin has to offer. Definitely recommended!

When I was first offered the Cartoon Animal storage bin to review I thought, "but I don't have young children. But I sure could use something to store my crochet and knitting stuff in." So I said yes. The sturdy vinyl, happy yellow color, and perky owl makes me happy to look at and happy to use. The generously sized interior is great for craft projects, and yes, probably kids could use it too:) but you probably want to get one for yourself. The bin's bottom comes out so it can be easily folded when not in use, but I imagine this bin will be in use a lot, whoever gets it, kids or adults.

This storage bin is pretty cute and very handy to have around. I'm storing books in mine. It keeps everything organized next to my bookshelf in my office. The only thing is it gives off a scent the first day after you open the package. It has a sort of canvas scent. But by the second day it is barely noticeable. So you might want to leave it outside or in the garage the first day to air out. I can think of so many uses for this. You could store children's toys in it or use it as a clothes hamper in kid's rooms. It is easy to pick up and move around because it has two handles. I love owls so I chose the owl design and it's adorable. This comes folded in its own triangular zippered storage pouch that measures 11" x 11" x 15", but when unfolded and the floor is inserted, the organizer measures 14" each direction. It's quite strong and has handles on 2 sides for lifting. I put 15 lbs. of stuff in it and it could probably hold more. You need to have items in it or it will collapse upon itself. ~~~~item received for review~~~~
