Good solid lightweight surf reel
Had this reel out a number of times and though not perfect is excellent for the Amazon price.First the good pointsGood and solid no flex on retrieve as with many cheaper reels.Shallow spools perfect for braid.Light weight balances long continental rods well.Fast drag set locked to free running in half a turnMinus point no line guard to prevent line getting under the spool I found this a problem with a springy mono shock leader but no problem since changing to a heavy braid leaderOverall great with braid on a light beach casting rod.
