The nicest cake I've had,rest of family said same.Moist choc orange curd ,pre cut slices ,which is good as can pop back in freezer if trying not to eat in one go 😋

Got this for my wife’s birthday as it’s her favourite - delicious as ever, well packaged and delivered efficiently.

First tasted this as a dessert with takeaway. So glad to find this and be able to get a whole cake. It has become my favourite treat. Its being frozen and already cut into portions, makes it last well.

This cake arrived smashed and warm.Disappointed as purchased this before and really enjoyed it, although a little expensive.This was for a family birthday cake, now it’s fit for the bin!

just Tooo Sweeet

Bought this orange cake for a large family BBQ, was not disappointed. Was lovely light, fresh & most of my family had seconds, served with either crème fraiche or vanilla ice cream. Leftovers stayed fresh in the fridge for 5 days. Will look at all the frozen cake range was very impressed with this.

I went by the reviews. I should have been wary of so many five star reviews. When my cake arrived it was like unpacking a Russian doll. A HUGE box, inside of which was another box inside of which was the cake in a BROWN CARDBOARD BOX without any other covering. The cake was already defrosted as there was no dry ice, no sign of any packets of dry ice that had evaporated (the nature of dry ice), nor any dampness. The inner box had travelled upside down in the huge box. I had difficulty removing the cake from is brown cardboard box as it was NOT covered in cellophane as is usual with bought cakes thus as it had travelled upside down the 'chocolate' sticky icing had stuck to the lid. Prising the lid off was a difficult task that left half of the top of icing stuff adhering to the cardboard. I had bought this for a birthday celebation but it was pointless seeing the state of it. I managed to save half of the cake, which I gave to my guests for tea that same day. Frankly we were not impressed. Only the sweet sticky orange curd injected into the cake gave 'life' to the cake. Then when I read the list of ingredients, well I wished I had not read the list of ingredients. I did complain to the Seller who refunded half of the price as we had eaten half of the cake. The cake is orange in colour, the chocolate sticky icing is just similar to cheap chocolate sauce in bottles though not as runny, saved only by the orange curd. I would never buy this cake again as its is quantity over quality. The fact that it was not covered and just stuck in an ordinary cardboard box worried me, germwise.
