I love this shoe! I use it for teaching jazz dance classes. It has appropriately thick quality leather for the shoe and a higher heal to aid my feet as compared to a similarly styled Bloch shoe that I used to where. When I wore out my last pair of a Blochs and ordered a replacement pair I was disappointed at how drastically the quality of the shoe had suffered. When I received this shoe, being unfamiliar with the brand, I was happily surprised! I believe this shoe will hold up well over time and hard use.
