Buyer Beware - Product unreliable and Source doesn't honor their warranty
I used this hydration reservoir on a hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon earlier this month. The hose broke off from the connection to the reservoir as I was putting it in my backpack after filling getting all of my gear wet and leaving me without a water supply at the bottom of the canyon in 120 degree heat. Fortunately, my wife had a reservoir that we could share on our hike back up. I contacted Source Tactical to exercise the warranty but they have been unresponsive despite many inquiries. Buyer beware. If you buy this it could fail on you in the middle of your activity and the company doesn't seem to stand by their warranty.

Do not buy!
I cannot recommend this product. The one I received will not dispense water from the bag, the valve at that location appears faulty. I registered the product and filed a claim and received no response. I've sent several e-mails with no response. I would give zero stars if possible!

No lie, these things are tough as nails.
I purchased this as a requirement for a 10 hour athletic event. Part of the event (go ruck.com, if you are curious) was to carry a bundle of bricks in a ruck sack. The very same ruck sack that this water bladder would be in. After all was said and done, being tossed about with 40lbs of brick, laid on, dropped without care, and otherwise abused, this water bladder survived where others (looking at you, camel pack) did not. Playful ribbing aside, this is an absolute beast of a bladder, and easy to fill/clean to boot.I learned early on that the twist off cap really doesn't serve a purpose in this context. Unfold the top, open the mouth wide and dump water in there. Fast, reliable, and maybe a little mess but it's just water and sometimes speed is more important than a little spillage.Down side? None, really. No product is perfect, but when you compare it to the competition I think you will find lots of the features are standard, like quick release hose fittings and various styles of bite nozzles. The twist and cap nozzle on this bladder takes a bit of practice to get the hang of, but when you jump in a dirty pond, and your nozzle stays clean and clear because of this system, you will be thankful for the extra fraction of a second it takes you open. Replace dirty pond with mud, dust, sand, dirt, or the grabby hands of a dirty toddler and you get the idea.5-stars, recommend this company without reservation!

Does not fit the Eberlestock G1 Little Brother internal hydration sleeves
First of all, the product is great and the quality of all materials is superb. Hence the 5 stars. But I'm writing this review in an effort to help others avoid the same painful mistakes I made... So here goes: Eberlestock’s description of the G1 Little Brother says “There are two hydration sleeves on interior back wall sized for our WXP3L 3-liter bladders”. The description for their WXP3L says it's a Source bladder and since the part numbers are identical, I figured this item was the same. But now that I received it, I’ve run into some issues and upon closer inspection of the photos, I’m seeing my mistake(s):A- I can’t seem to find a way to hang this bladder in the pack because there’s no way to get the strap through the hard-plastic hanger on the bladder… Eberlestock’s photos show a larger hole in the top hanger, and I’m guessing that takes care of that.B- This bladder is also considerably wider than the hydration sleeves in the G1. The bladder acquires a more cylindrical shape when full, but I feel it’s going to be under a lot of pressure from the edges of the sleeve when the bladder empties and the pack is loaded, forcing the bladder to fold, which would definitely not be good. Plus, due to the width of the hanger, the hole in it does not align with the center of the sleeve, worsening the problem. After discovering all of this, I did a bit of research and I found a video on YouTube were the guy says that the hydration sleeves are actually meant for the 2L bladder. So, I wrote to Eberlestock and about 10 days later they replied: “Most people run 2 L bladders in these two smaller pockets. You can put the 3L in empty and then fill it up and let it expand into the pocket. In this model the bladders are held in place by the compression strap and bladder sleeves. If you put the black plastic ring over on the bladder over the sleeve it will help hold it up. So it doesn't necessarily need to line up like where you are saying it is misaligned.”Not being sure I understood that correctly, but at the end of my wits with the theoretical approach, I ended up ordering the original Eberlestock 2L bladder and I guess I’ll be updating shortly… In the meantime, I hope this helps someone else...

Source Trinkblase - richtige Wahl
