Salad Dressing Shaker Bottle - Great Salads and Cooking - Sealing Rubber Topper

Nothing fancy and is 8 oz. I pretty much just make Good Season's Italian dressing (which I also buy in bulk via Amazon) and it will just barely hold one package of dressing. Easy to clean. I also really liked my OXO Salad Dressing shaker which holds two plus cups of dressing and is also great. Just messier to clean and I accidentally microwaved it to ruined while trying to melt refrigerated olive oil so needed a replacement. The OXO has a messier spout. This one is fine.

The only issue I take with the shaker bottles is that they are smaller than I had anticipated. They will serve my purpose but for the size of my group I will have to refill them a couple of times. They are very nice looking and seem to be made of a study plastic.

Product was good for a couple of months. Good size and sealed well. However after a couple of months the bottom of the shaker literally fell off while shaking the dressing.

I used this bottle for less than a year and was never really thrilled about it. The plastic felt greasy when handled, which was probably made worse because of the fact that it was used for salad dressing as advertised. The top sealed well as long as I kept pressure on it while shaking it. But, I never enjoyed using it mainly because it did not really feel like a quality product. But the final straw occurred the last time I used it. I put my ingredients in the bottle, held the top, and started to shake it to blend the oil and vinegar mixture. All of a sudden, the contents were all over my kitchen because the bottom fell out of the bottle. I checked it carefully and it looks like the bottom was just pressed in rather than glued or somehow permanently attached to the bottle. What a lousy design! I hope that this does not eventually happen to everyone who purchases this product, but just be aware that it can happen and you will have a huge mess.

The size is perfect for me. You have to be sure to hold the top on when you shake it. The silcone band in the neck becomes slippery because of the oil so you can't get a tight seal. (Unlike most of the others, this is a real review. Note, the fake reviewer gave the exact same review under two different names.)

It is smaller than I envisioned but still works fine. I think I'd prefer glass but that's my personal preference that I realized only after getting the bottle. The lid works great.

Based on the review I had high hopes for this little container! My girlfriend is on a dressing kick so I thought this would be a nice surprise. The main problem was evident the first time we used it - as soon as the dressing is poured, and oil gets near the sealing surface (on the inside of the bottle), the surface is too slick for the rubber cap to grip. One tip and I guarantee the top would pop right off, just from the liquid pushing against it. Considering the large pour mouth, I didn't care to wait for this to happen inside our fridge - returning.If you carefully fill this, place the clean, dry topper on, it will seal just fine. But for our purposes (wanting to pull in/out of fridge as needed), this just doesn't cut it.Also it's very small - I should have looked more closely, but we are making dressings in pint jars, and one certainly will not fit.
