Nasoya, Organic Baked Tofu, Teriyaki, 8 oz

I love this tofu. It tastes great and is pre-cooked so all you have to do is reheat it. If you are too busy and/or lazy to put in the time & effort to cook up your own Tofu it is great to have on hand. I love to eat this warmed up over a bed of rice. Amazingly it even tastes good cold. Usually I do not like cold tofu but this is the exception. Sometimes I add cold cubes of this to my salads. The sesame flavor is very good as well. There are a couple other companies that sell a similar product and I think I have probably tried them all. Personally I prefer this brand over the others. The only problem is finding places that sell it. It is hard to find at the Wegmans near me because they sell out of this brand so fast. There is a health-food store also that sells it but I don't often shop there because it's a bit out of my way.

This is good stuff. It is already cooked of course so you just heat it up. I cut it up into chunks for oriental dinners. It is just convenient if you don't feel like taking the time to cook raw tofu. Don't over cook it and you will be fine.

How is it available for purchase without refrigeration and it boosts no gmos, but then the shelf life is extremely long. I bought some of the other type of nasoya and it was my first time trying this brand. It's extremely wet, mealy, crumbly and confirms that I like the traditional brands. I will steer clear of this brand as it is solely for those wanna-be vegans.

This is the only flavored baked tofu at my local convenience store, so I will pick this up sometimes as a snack. However, I always forget when I get back to the office that the texture of the tofu is just odd. It's soft and strangely pasty and mealy. Also don't know what kind of teriyaki marinade they're using but it's not tasty at all. With so many great baked tofu options available on Amazon you can do better. I would recommend  Wildwood, Organic Sproutofu Baked Tofu, Teriyaki, 6 oz

just buy regular tofu, this tastes like garbage
