I’m a silversmith and need to wear a mask when working. Lots of small particles get airborne as I work. This mask is very comfortable, btw I bought a medium. Easy to put on and easy to breath. The nose piece can be manipulated to sit comfortably on the nose to keep out dust and particles. The mask has a zelcro closure on the back of the neck that makes it easy to fit comfortably. Comes with extra filters. I purchased the 1st RZ MASK 2 years ago. I feel that it held up well. I recently ordered a new one, but this time I ordered the large and I find it’s even more comfortable and has better coverage. My face is a bit narrow, yet pretty average. Well made! I recommend the mask.

I bought this for woodworking, but so far It's been handy to weed eat with. There was no smell out of the box, and it even came with extra filters so you don't need to immediately go buy more. It was very tight on me until I used the strap that comes in the box to make it adjustable which was then able to fit me very well. It feels quality, maybe not better than a paint sprayer mask, but this is better than something dirt cheap. It has suitable dust protection.

This product replaced an old style heavy respirator I had used that was awkward and un comfortable. The RZ mask really is an upgrade from my that one. In fact I cant even believe how easy it goes on and comes off and it seems to be highly effective in keeping the fine dust from getting in my lungs. Recently I had to rip some very high density plywood/signboard in the shop. I started out going mask less and this material was so fine the air born cloud of dust particles immediately went through my nostrils in straight into my body. The first piece being cut already I could proceed and used the old mask for a few more cuts I needed right away. Then I found the RZ masks on Amazon and my order arrived the next day. I will be able to use a mask from now on whenever I think the dust is too fine. You can put this on and remove it in a few seconds and when itw on your face it does not obstruct you at all.

After seeing about every woodworking influencer shilling these, I decided to try them. The large size feels too small. I'm fairly slim, people say I have a small head. It doesn't seal well looking up or down. It does a pretty good job preventing lens fogging, but there are really good safety glasses these days that don't fog. The proprietary insert is a detractor. The assembly of the vents is frustrating, and the little clear rubber valve falls off constantly. The hole in the mask is ragged, which could easily have been a nicer hole if it was heat cut. The lack of good sealing on my face is the deal breaker. They are much worse than a basic N95. I know I get good face seal with my 3M chemical mask, and the dust filters for that are cheap enough. The concept is good, but the lack of good seal, poor fit, fiddly vents, and proprietary inserts killed it. Good concept, but the execution needs work.

I use this mostly in my workshop for sanding, cutting, and anything that kicks up a lot of dust. Compared to the cheap disposable masks I was using before, this thing is a major upgrade. The mesh design actually lets air flow better, so I don’t feel like I’m suffocating or overheating halfway through a project. It fits snug without digging into my face, and the adjustable straps keep it in place even when I’m leaning over a workbench or moving around. I like that the filters are replaceable and that it doesn’t fog up my glasses as much as other masks do. If you’re working around sawdust, smoke, or even yard work debris, this is a solid option. It’s saved me from a lot of sore throats and sneezing fits.
