Fashion Aktiv Basic Double-Layer Cotton Simple Stretchy Tube Pencil Mini Skirt

It's a great basic to have. The fabric is a tad thin, but it is double layered, so it's not see through, at least in black. The material is soft, jersey like, cottony, with stretch. I will say, the fabric thinness means it's really comfortable; however, it didn't have a lot of "hold" or "control" or "strength". When I wear body-hugging skirts or dresses, I like it to have some control on the tummy. So it's just a consideration if your body type isn't too firm. I'm 5'2", 165lbs, size 10/12 and bought a size XL, thinking it would be reduced sizing. It was a tad too large and I would have been good with an L (maybe the L would feel tighter around my tummy and have that hold I want). Since it is 95%cotton, I'll have to see if there's any shrinkage after washes.

I’m so happy with the quality of this skirt! It fits me so well, I’m 5’2 and I weigh 115 lbs I ordered a size small. I was afraid it would be too tight but it fits me perfect! The material is amazing and very comfortable, it’s 95% cotton which is always a plus in my book. If you’re looking for a skirt to dress up or down this is the one for you! I highly recommend!

Love it. I have EDS so my hip dislocates often and i have trouble walking correctly. This skirt hugs enough so it's not super restrictive yet helps me a lot with my walking and body awareness. I like it lower on my hips so it's long enough for summer and breathes bcs it's cotton but thick enough over leggings for winter. Beige has a polished work look. I'm 5'9 usually S/M and I got a medium it fits awesome. I do have small hips and butt, so I could see if the tightness is uncomfortable for more average curves. One tag on the side- is nice because I get itchy easily. Definitely getting a couple more colors. UPDATE: these are holding up EXCELLENTLY. Great quality for a low price. I have black, beige, rose, and green. I want more! So comfy I'm super impressed. Never see through because of the double layer. A+, please make more colors 😍

I love skirts like these, they are such a versatile piece of clothing! Cheap, comfortable, dress it down or class it up: this skirt can do it all!Originally bought the XL because most reviewers said it ran small, and while it fit, it was a little too stretchy and didn’t hold me in as much as I like this kind of skirt to do. Kept it (for those days I’m feeling puffy) but ordered a L instead and it’s perfect! I’m a 31” waist and 41” hip for reference and I normally wear a L in skirts (8/10 pants) Will most likely be stocking my drawers with all colors of these!

I loved it when I bought it but I put in the wash and laid it flat to dry and it is deformed and I cannot wear it anymore, so I’m extremely disappointed because this was the first black mini I found on amazon that want see through or paper thin. If your smart and just hand wash and a very delicate with it I’m sure it will last longer than mine.

It is pretty much as described: a tube around your hip. Fabric is firm but stretchy, so it does not restrict movement. It does crinkle up, and stays up with movement if you wear leggings with it. I got it to wear off some of my shorter t-shirts with leggings, it makes a nice extension.

Got several of these skirts for vacation in Mexico and absolutely love them! So versatile and flattering, no muffin top even though I'm a bit 'thick' currently,nice wide stretchy waistband but doesn't lose its shape. A real staple in my suitcase, can be dressed up or down. I would reccomend washing on a delicate cycle tho,and air drying. A couple of my skirts got a tad misshapen after washing and drying them on a regular cycle.

So, based on the other reviews I got a size medium (I'm usually a size 6... but I was doubtful a small would fit) and thought the stretchy material would make it work for me. It is in fact not that stretchy. It was too tight on the hips and was really uncomfortable. The material didn't stretch so it felt constricting, even though it fit in the waist and legs. I am returning the product and not getting a bigger size because I know the waist will be too big if I get a large. Maybe it's not meant for curvy people...
