It works!
I had a 10mm stud in a motorcycle case that would not come out, even when heated cherry red with an oxy-acetylene torch and double-nutted. That technique worked with the other studs, but not this one, even when repeated 3 times. so it was with some trepidation I ordered this tool. But when heated to red a 4th time, and this tool was used with an 18" 1/2" drive ratchet, it bit into the stud and FINALLY broke it free. Halleluiah! 5 stars!

Bulky
I’m a Hyundai technician and needed a stud remover and saw this and the reviews and decided to purchase it. Don’t get me wrong it works great, a little annoying when trying to use cause it’s so bulky that I can’t remove most studs cause of clearance, have to remove a 1/4 inch at a time.

Broken stud
This is just a great tool for removing studs that are broken (no head) but with an accessible piece of shaft. This tool will grip and remove the stud.

DANGER! Avoid this stud remover
I successfully extracted two studs from an older engine the day of receiving this product, before the tool EXPLODED! Scratched a fender. Do NOT purchase this if you plan to encounter studs with any rust or corrosion; the cheap metal will burst. 1/5 rating. Sad

Amazing tool
I busted a couple of seized bolts that go into my engine block. Luckily, I found this tool on a Friday and received on Saturday. It grabbed on to the piece of bolt shaft and removed the broken bolts like they were nothing. 100% would recommend this!
