This is the oddest little tool, but quite handy. I lost mine years ago, and was tickled when I found it here. If you've ever rubbed your eyes and gotten your hard lens stuck in the corner, this is a much kinder fix. And for newbies struggling to learn, this tiny suction cup can give them a break from clumsy attempts at removing a lens. Maybe it's best use is for comic relief. The frustration of a lens not popping out properly first try, can flit from your mind the moment you glance at the image in the mirror of the handle of this tiny plunger hanging straight out from your eyeball, bouncing. In that moment you could swear you heard a tiny cartoonist "boi-oi-oing". (Okay, that was the only time I ever let go of it.) Mostly, I just looked in amazement at how quick & easy that was to use. Accompanied by a sigh of comfort.

My only complaint is that I can only purchase theseone at a time with a specified order of $25 or more.Come on, Amazon. Get real. I need those everywhere,in the bathroom, in my purse, in my desk, in my car,in my goflbag, in my suitcases, and more. I have named7 places where I need to stash these. So, why can't I pay$55 flat to instead of $150 + 55 = $205?????? Greedy, greedy,greedy, Amazon. When I was able to order them from Drugstore.com.I could order as many as I wanted with no required minimum purchase.

Great communication with this seller. I accidentally had this sent to the wrong address. As soon as I realized & contacted the seller they were able to reroute my purchase to me. I have used this type of contact lens remover before and bought this as a spare.

Works great. I had a very hard time removing my RGP lenses. They fit so well and my eyes are dry enough that popping them out with my eyelids was an exercise in futility. I used a big suction cup device that the eye Dr provided but even that took countless tries and a lot of patience. I bought this based on reviews and found it to be my miracle. It's so easy to use and I can now take contacts out in no time. I can also use it to put them in but it's not as easy sometimes to get them to stick to the inserter side. I find it to be money definitely well spent.

My lovely wife has tremendous difficulty getting her HARD contact lenses out of her eye after having the contact in all day/evening.... Maybe it is the way here eyes are shaped, and by pulling here skin back the contact should pop out... but for her the contact is literally stuck to her eyeball... this plunger like apparatus does the trick... they come as a pair... one for traveling and the other at home.. We were in Florida for a few weeks and no matter where we went to try and find a "plunger", no luck... even at eye doctors offices!!!.. Amazon did the trick and FAST too!!!

This is the best tool to have if you wear GP lenses and have a difficult time occasionally with a stubborn lens that won't come out on its own. I had missplace the one I had and was really glad to find this with Amazon. Now it is in my lens kit along with conditioner and cleaning solution.

The suction cup that is suppose to grab the contact does not work when the lens is right on the eye. If you manage to get the lens to move to the white space of the eye, then it works like a charm. At which point, I can easily remove it with my fingers.

great little tool. I wish my eye doctor had given me this instead of telling I had to blink it out.
