Microdot 4015 Headset Head Worn Microphone for Sennheiser Wireless 3.5mm Screw Locking Plug Omni-Directional PRO Mic

This is my third beige/flesh headset I’ve purchased and used from Amazon and it’s absolutely “the best”. The bendy arm is fantastic, it fits on my head pretty good, though I put a small piece of tape on the back to keep it snug, and it sounds great BECAUSE It bends so well. Other headsets that I’ve used and the dozen others I’ve perused on Amazon have a stiff, paperclip-thin microphone arm which will end up bent or beneath your nose, being blasted by nasal exhalations. This one can bend so nicely. It also is the only beige headset that actually can sort-of slide around for adjustment.It works in Sony (and probably all screw-in) LAV packs, but only if you screw it in halfway… I had no issues after discovering that.

I have bought several of these now, and am very pleased. No they are not countryman or dpa quality but for the price they are excellent. For pastors and spoken word they are great. I have used them for children’s theater and work well. My only complaint would be some distortion when spl’s are high. But for the price they are very good. My pastors countryman died and I used this one for two services until the new countryman came in. He was very surprised. If fact he had me order another one for guests and as a back up for the church.

Sound is fine, construction quality seems very good, and considerably better than most cheap dual-ear headsets. But.... the wire frame is very small. It's suitable for children and teens, and small adult heads. It is simply too small for average adult heads.

Love these, great for speaking ease to use, comfortable. Great turn around time.

Does not screw in properly to senheiser belt pack. Plug can still move and wiggle and crackles when worn by actor.

This is a really nice sounding mic with great fitment and flexibility.

Great for the price. I use it to perform outdoor shows in the summer and it's lasted though five months of weekends and hard treatment. I'm a singer and it sounds just fine to me.

Users say this is one of the most comfortable headsets (especially those with long hair). Sound is good (8/10), plosives are well controlled, slightly more prone to feedback than my old headset as the mic does not point directly towards the mouth, but you should be able to control that in the equalizer.

Well made and strong. They have the screw connection to attach to most transmitters.
