I'm pleased that I was able to find a collection of natural soaps for such a reasonable price. I'm in love with the short ingredients list on the soap sleeves. I used one for the first time today--I picked the Bergamot bar--and was also pleased with the smooth lather it made. It was good enough to shave with, and my skin did not feel dried out after using. (which, yay. bar soaps do that to me more often than not, so I love that these didn't). To nitpick, I'd been under the impression that they were scented with real essential oils, but they are not. The soap sleeve clearly indicates that they are scented with "parfum" (perfume). They smell pleasant, but they do smell like perfumed scents (not the real essential oils), and they smell mostly the same (except the lemon and grapefruit). To be fair, this is my misunderstanding, as the Amazon ad in no way indicates that they DO include essential oils. I just happened to click over from another one of their sets that actually does, then didn't bother verifying that this one did, too. To others like me who are sensitive to manufactured scents, though, please take this into account. However, I can't fault the actual product--the soaps are great quality, and I'm sure 98% of people won't care one way or another and will find the scents pleasant, cheerful, and mild. Last note: I love the packaging. They come in a cute little orange box, and the illustrations on the individual soap sleeves are beautiful. I feel like this would make a great gift for someone.

I was definitely happy with my purchase. Buying a soap with safe ingredients is a must for me. The scents smell even better once you get the bar wet and wash with them. Leave my skin smelling really good and clean but moisturized for hours afterwards.

My journey to reduce plastic waste led me to purchase this bar soap, notably because it is in bar format rather than body wash. I also like how the bars are not individually wrapped in plastic but rather cardboard sleeves (pictured here). So I put it on subscribe and save and used it for years, but did not scrutinize the ingredients— until now. Upon first glance, the soap’s all-natural ingredient list seemed promising, aligning with my preference for products that tread lightly on our planet. Ingredients like Olive and Coconut oils, alongside Vitamins C and E, suggested a mindful formulation. However, my enthusiasm waned upon noticing Sodium Palmate, a derivative of palm oil, among the ingredients. The palm oil industry is notorious for its adverse environmental impacts, including deforestation, loss of biodiversity, and significant greenhouse gas emissions. These effects cannot be overlooked, as they pose significant threats to global ecosystems and contribute to climate change. Although the soap itself is a quality product that meets the basic need for cleanliness without contributing much to plastic pollution, the inclusion of palm oil—even sustainably sourced—raises important ethical considerations. The challenge of verifying the true sustainability of palm oil adds complexity to what would otherwise be an eco-friendly choice. In sharing this review, my intent is to highlight the nuances of making environmentally responsible purchases. While this soap aligns with the goal of reducing plastic waste and appears to embrace natural ingredients, the shadow cast by palm oil cannot be ignored. I urge the manufacturer to reconsider its use of palm oil, and I encourage fellow consumers to remain vigilant and informed about the environmental implications of the products we support. I’m going stop buying this soap and will find another soap to use because I do not want to contribute to the deforestation of the palm oil industry.

Very nice soaps. They were all packaged together which initially made all of the soaps smell horrible. But after putting them aside from each other, the actual scents became better. they're not to big, but not too small. They make the skin feel nice after use. The colors look natural, unlike some brands that make their soaps some strange color. Updated review: Nice soaps, but unfortunately after a few days of use I got a very bad allergic reaction. Not sure to what ingredient, but if you are someone with sensitive skin.. beware. I loved these soaps until I started getting hives for what ever reason.

I love how this soap smells. It leaves my skin so soft and clean and a bar lasts a good amount of time (1 month). And I really love the pretty colours. My skin is sensitive and I haven't had itch or any rash with these. I will never use anything else again. The scent is soft and not overpowering. It doesn't aggravate my scent sensitivity. Great product.

Tolle Naturseifen mit unglaublichen Duft. Bin begeistert und Dusche mich sehr gerne damit ab. Weg von Chemie sagte ich mir vor Jahren und bin immer wieder auf der Suche nach tollen Naturseifen. Hier hat man gleich sechs Stück mit echt tollen Düften. Sie kommen in einer kleinen und schicken Schachtel und die Seifen an sich sehen auch super aus. Einziges Manko für das ich aber kein Stern abziehe: man riecht nur kurz nach der jeweiligen Seife, anders als bei Chemie, wo man gefühlt noch Stunden nach dem Duschen nach Sport, Arctic, choco, fresh ect riecht. Dem Produkt gebe ich aber dennoch 5Sterne, denn ich habe auch Stunden nach dem Duschen, ohne Duft, einfach ein tolles Hautgefühl und rieche nicht schlechter als gewollt.

I've been buying and using this soap for a couple of years at least now. I have skin that is on the dry side, but can also get a bit greasy on days when it's humid or I'm active. My skin is also sensitive, which doesn't help in a hardwater area. Using regular shower gels or other soaps can aggravate my skin and make it itchy after a shower - if you've ever experienced that then you know what hell it can be, I've found this soap works well on my face, helping to clear the pores and making my skin squeaky clean. At the same time, I use it on my body with a sponge and it lathers well, cleans well and rinses very easily. The bar lasts well and, according to my buying history, each bar lasts 3 weeks or maybe a bit longer. The fragrance is very mild and pleasant. It is not perfumed, and the soap doesn't leave you with a scent afterwards, other than a very feint clean one! It does turn my sponge darker over time, but that's to be expected with a genuine charcoal soap. All-in-all, a good soap.
