I got it as a gift for my student and she loved it! The packaging is simple but not cheap or tacky and the contents are also great for value.

Nice stamp but not easy to use
I bought this to seal a child’s birthday invitations to a Harry Potter themed birthday party. The set came beautifully presented, and the seal itself felt great quality. However the problem came trying to use it. The sealing wax just wouldn’t melt! Some of these sealing wax bars have a wick through them, and it makes them easier to use, but this one did not. I lit one of the enclosed night light candles and picked up one of the 3 enclosed wax bars (the silver one) and tried to melt it so it dripped into the wax ‘spoon’. It simply wouldn’t melt. So little dripped into the spoon it was pathetic (even given ‘help’ from the gas stove!) and was then really difficult to get it from spoon to paper, especially as there is no spout on the spoon itself. A friend also helped as she often uses wax seals in her work. Even she struggled. and we couldn’t get enough wax on the page to give a give the seal a good impression. In the end we ended up burning old birthday candles, which melted easily, and so were able to get the job done.The set looks lovely, the seal is great, but they need to replace the wax tablets with ones with a wick running though them, and add a lip to the wax spoon so it’s easy to pour the wax out.
