Shirt Lock Undergarment Belt Alternative to Shirt Stays 1.5"X50"

When I was in the Marines in the 1980's, we used shirt garters to keep our shirts tucked in. This was pretty much before Velcro was popular or even invented and the garters felt strange and rubbed the hair off our hairy, manly Marine legs. I wish this product had existed back then, it does just what it promises, keeps my shirts tucked in. I am now somewhat larger in the mid-section than I was back then and this shirt-lock really keeps the shirt tucked down and keeps my pants from dropping to plumber's crack position. I do keep it fairly tight and it took a little to get used to the feeling of a separate belt under the pants but I'll never go without one in a dress shirt again.

My first day of wearing it for an 8 hour shift I definitely does what it says it will do. It is not easy to put on because of the fact that it sticks to your pants it's supposed to but it makes putting it on a little challenging. I would give it 5 stars if it felt a little more durable, this may be on purpose though because once it's on and the duty belt goes on your pants and shirt aren't going anywhere and you really don't notice it. The only times I did notice it was getting out of the patrol car and not having to adjust my duty belt.

For it's intended purpose of keeping your shirt tucked in it works great, but if you got a bit of a gut the stiff plastic can really dig in and get uncomfortable if worn every day. I also didn't take long for it to start getting bent out of shape.For use on formal occasions when you don't have to sit very much it works very well.

Would be a great product if adhesive was just on the underside of the belt. It is difficult to use as it sticks to my pants when I'm pulling them up. Difficult to use in a practical sense.

works great but while in the police academy we had to do burpees and my shirt still came untucked and when the material touches your skin...it bites

My husband was very frustrated with keeping his shirts tucked in and this is a great item. Just be warned though that it is hard on the shirt fabric below the belt line. It has very strong Velcro-type material. I have found Snugtex Belting 1" x 25 yards here on Amazon to sew onto the inside of his pants. It is also a great product.

I would tell other people. I would even the the military how great it is. Great for business people to.
