After it is mixed properly apply to your hand or directly and rub the applique' product, HeadDry in. If you want to remove excess wait a short time until the product drys and just rub your head again in the over applied areas and you should be shine free. If you spill just use a towel--it is safe for all fabrics. Apply as often as wanted. We use HeadDry, in AZ (our hot test ground) every day and love being fresh and shine free!
