After five minutes I went back into the room and it's a quite a big room and I can already smell it . Small yet mighty. Very happy with the product a d it's only been five minutes. The Smell will last a day or 2 after a full burn maybe longer if you have a smaller room and buy the time you used one or 2 of them you would probably need another candle. Will Buy again . If you can't smell it after a while then you probably went nose blind but others will definitely notice (guests) of their was a improvement then I would make a Coffee or , Tobacco, or gingerbread cubes of these

Lovely item, smells delightful and in these days of smoke detectors it’s great that they don’t smoke ( much as I love the original censors) It’s a pretty little burner, the oud smells lovely and there is even a thoughtful little candle included to start off. Delivery and packaging were first class.

Excellent incense, lasts quite well. Good variety of incense. The burner/holder is a nice item, looks good when lit. The only thing is, the wooden disc that the burner sits on or rather the groove that it's supposed to fit into is slightly too small. But it's not really a problem.

Very pleased with this Bakhour burner. The scent is great, the lighting effect given off by the perforated copper shroud around the tea light candle adds a cozy warm glow to the room. The Bakhour tablet giving off the scent lasts a long time. Great value for money.

cons: The ranbow burner thing came with a dent on the wooden plating. After contacting the seller, they said theres nothing they can do about it. The smell is weak and does not last very long. I planned on having these on throughout the whole of Ramadan but the smell is barely noticeable unless you're smelling the block up close. Considering you have to use a tealight candle to keep the smell active, you will eat through a lot of candles in just one day. I wish there was an easier way, where you don't also need to keep an eye on it - in case of fire burning out or an accident etc. Since the blocks don't last me longer than a day, I feel guilty just throwing them away. There's definitely potential on how you could recycle these without having to throw it away. I'm wondering if these are compostable or if you could throw them in with your washing so that your clothes smell like it as well. That would be a really nice way of "saying goodbye" to these lovely smells I have found that these scents do tend to smell a lot like eachother. Maybe I've gotten used to them or maybe the difference between them isn't extreme enough for me. Theres a lot of single use packaging on the little blocks. I wouldn't mind paying a little more if the plastic was replaced with a compostable version or even just paper. pros: They do have nice scents, it reminds me of the beautiful smells you find in the mosque. The rainbow burner is very cute and omits pretty light shadows when a candle is lit. Even the stars in the dish are very beautiful to look at.

I saw this being raved about on Mumsnet and bought it after reading how many compliments it received. I'm glad I did, because this is a beautiful way of fragrancing your home. There is a little candle holder with a brass plat above it that you had once chuck of bakhoor on to. The flame heats the brass which heats the charcoal and a strong and spicy/oud scent fills your home. I've found that you can only really use one chunk once and it's better if you use 8 hr tea lights rather than 4 hr (not supplied). I intend to buy moor bakhoors as soon as I run out. I'm a total convert! By the way, this applies ot the variety pack which is mainly oud with a bit of sandalwood.

Crikey ya pay for what ya get. Used it twice , (different scents) and the scent is extremely strong, non smoky, the scent can be smelt the day after too. I turned the small slabs over and re burnt them but the scent wasn't as strong. It is expensive but way better than incense sticks that can be hit and miss with the smokiness. Better than candles as some scents are not that strong if ya using them in a larger room. This is definitely worth a buy if ya want a scent that fills up the room and lasts much longer in the air after it has been used. The burn time is set for a maximum for three hours ( safety reasons ) I would recommend using tea lights that are for three hours.

The smell is amazing. The whole house smells beautiful. If you love sweet, woody incense smells, this is a great buy. No smoke, just a sweet wood (oud) aroma.

Love it, if you are considering buying this go for it, u can even use with coal and keep oudh over it
