I wanted a fan for our dining table area that would augment the fan in the living room (open floor plan) and help circulate air to the adjacent kitchen area as well. The modern appearance of the light fixture is a nice update to our dining table (replaces a traditional six bulb chandelier). And since the fan blades are hidden when not in use, it looks more elegant and not utilitarian. The electrician had a bit of a challenge installing, needed a few of another type of machine screws, but easy ones to get. The remote control is a little tricky to remember all the symbols, but I'll get it. I like the nightlight button feature that dims the light while we are watching TV and appreciate the timer feature to turn itself off.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this fan back in September for my home that I purchased. I was not set to move in until November. Once I moved in November I had the ceiling fan installed and everything seemed fine, the light and fan worked. But by then the return window was closed. (Keep this in mind). So a week passes by then all of a sudden my light no longer works but my fan is still working, okay, no worries - I’ll reach out to Amazon to see what we can do. I’m not looking for a refund, I’m simply looking for support. So Amazon tells me that the return window has passed but assures me that this seller is a good seller and to reach out to them directly and that they are confident the seller will get back with me with a resolution. So I reached out to the seller at least 5 times via email, via chat and even tried calling and absolutely ZERO RESPONSE (I have proof)! I begged them to respond! I told them that I was NOT looking for a refund but only for assistance in getting the light portion of this product to work!!!!! Now I’m stuck with a ceiling fan with no light!!! There was no way I was supposed to know that this light would be defective since I didn’t even open the item until well after the return window had passed. I’m very disappointed in this sellers lack of customer service especially since Amazon assured me that the seller would provide resolution. I would never recommend this seller to ANYONE EVER and I will NEVER be purchasing from this seller EVER again!!! I will also be escalating this issue back to Amazon

Bought one of these in July of 2022 and had it installed by professionals in my kitchen. The fact that the blades retract when the fan isn't in use is a nice touch in terms of space and appearance.The remote works perfectly, I've not tested the range on it but its instantly responsive.The light color can't be controlled independently which is a nuisance but with the remote it just means flipping the light on and off quickly.My fan's light lasted a little under 2 years before it started to flicker and dim. A replacement LED module was about 40 bucks and was very easy to install. Did have to order it from Amazon though, couldn't just run over to the hardware store.

Installation: 1 (easy) - 5 (hard):- I would rate it a 2 if your fixture mounts are the same size.- If the fixture mounts are a different size, you can purchase an adapter from Amazon.- The metal bracket that holds the ceiling cover did not have holes pre-drilled. I had to drill and tap two new holes.- If you can use a screw driver and know how to turn off power this is a breeze to install.Pros:- Customer service was fast and responsive. One part was broken and they sent it out right away!- Quiet fan on all settings.- Bright LED's with 3 different temperatures.- Remote.- Design.Cons:- Beeping sound when pressing any button, would be nice if you can disable it.- Does not remember last setting.I would purchase again just based on customer service alone.

UPDATE 1-18-24: After posting the review below the seller kindly contacted us by email via Amazon and offered to send us a replacement LED kit to install in the failed fixture. We received it in 1-2 weeks. We did not need an electrician as expected. It was extremely easy to replace, and the light is working fine after about 15 minutes to remove the old and install the new LED kit. Review changed from one star rating to three star rating. Fingers crossed that the current two LED kits don't go on the fritz. Thank you for your courteous and timely assistance, seller.We purchased two of these light fixtures. After a year the one in our dining room only flickered when we turned it on. For warranty info, it says in the Amazon listing: "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website."We searched extensively unsuccessfully for seller/manufacturer (Fandian) contact info, and even the instructions that came with it have NO info regarding the manufacturer or even the manufacturer's name on it.The description claims up to a whopping 60,000-hour life on the LED light array. Our fixture failed after just one year of use, which was less than 2,000 hours.
