My 26 year old son who is mentally challenged was in awe. When he saw the shoes on Amazon. I will never forget his expression.When we recieved the shoes an they lite up he jumped up clapping & laughing could not believe the shoes were real. Exactly like the picture Amazon featured . He has wored them ever since.I have to wait for him to sleep in orders to charge them.

The US women's sizing for these shoes are **correct as listed.** I purchased a half size larger because of other reviews, but was disappointed to discover that they were in fact, half a size too big. Maybe someone wasn't paying attention to the W vs M in the dropdown? I wore them anyway and wish I hadn't -- shoes that are too big chafe a lot in just a few hours' time.Anyway, the shoes are very cool and were a big hit at the club. The LEDs are quite bright, and will substantially light up the dance floor underneath you. The batteries, which kept the lights bright for the 3-4 hours I was dancing, are rechargeable with a 2-headed, Y-shaped micro USB cable that's included (does not come with a USB power brick, but most people have at least 5 lying around.) The shoes don't come with instructions, but it's easy to find the micro-USB connectors on the inside ankle of each shoe. A small red button on each connector controls the LED color selection and flash pattern, or program. There are 11 total light programs, starting with plain, non-flashing colors first: red, green, blue, yellow/lime green, aqua blue, purple, white (which looks like the aqua blue, due to the color of the rubber sole.) Next, a very fast flashing on white, followed by a 3 different flash and fade patterns between all the colors.The biggest caveat is that these shoes may give you dance cred you can't cash! I was asked to shuffle by at least 3 different people throughout the night, and the truth is, I'm just not so great at shuffling (and worse after a few drinks). For the most out of your money, get the right size and improve your moves!

Daughter who is 12yrs old is in love with these shoes and after her friends seen them, they had there parents buy them. She has gotten so many compliments with these shoes. The charge last a few hours. When out in the sun, you can barley see the lights but in a shaded place... light away.

They were cool while they lasted. Once I received the shoes, I charged them knowing that they probably only had about 30% charge for final quality checks and for shipping. I wore them out on a Friday and Saturday as a fun, creative way to start a conversation while having fun with the weekend night life. The 2 times I wore these shoes, they were perfect. Comfortable and light fully operational. I went to go charge them up so they would be ready for the next weekend and the left shoe didn't turn red once I connected to the charger. After an hour of waiting, I unplugged the shoes. The right one still works fine, but the left one doesnt turn on or nothing. They didn't make past being worn 2 times. I guess now I can look dumb wearing 1 light up shoe

Honestly, I wasn’t impressed with these AT ALL! I charged them before going out for the evening. On a full charge these lasted a couple hours. However something must’ve malfunctioned, because I could only shit one of the shoes off. Which, that took like 10 minutes for me to do, the buttons weren’t working. Eventually the other shoe died and didn’t light up anymore. As soon I as get home, I took my shoes off to charge them. Plots twist, neither of the shoes are charging. For the price of these shoes, you’re better off buying from somewhere else. Seriously though, one night of use and these shoes are broken...I wasn’t even near water or doing anything crazy with them on; ridiculous.

The shoes were the star of the party. This is an updated review. I wore the shoes one time and put them away in my closet for a month. When I went to wear them a second time, one of the shoes would not charge. When I contacted Amazon about return or replacement, I was told that it was too late. So, for the record, they were good for one wear. Piece of crap. Save your money.

I've bought 2 of these for my grandaughter, they are cute but the charging system quit after a week or two and Amazon only refunded a small percent of my money when returned

This product looks great and the lights are awesome. You’re the star of the show.... then after two uses you put them on again and what do you know? One shoe no longer lights up/charges/does anything other than be a shoe. There’s a reason this is such a good price and it’s not the paper thin soles (which I bought more comfortable replacements for). Buyer be warned.
