Amazing Child Montessori Small Multiplication Tables Board

I'm torn about writing a bad review and giving two stars, but I must. There are two '1x2' pieces and the '1x7' piece is missing. We decided to remedy this by carefully sanding down the incorrect numbers and writing in the correct numbers with a sharpie. The only other option is to send it back to China, re-order it, and wait another month for it to ship out, only hoping with our fingers crossed that they don't send us another defective game. Seeing several of the other reviews, we'll not likely receive a correct item next time, so it's not worth the chance.However, this IS a wonderful way to teach little ones their multiplication tables. I find the pieces slightly small, as other reviewers have mentioned, but certainly not too small for little hands. This item is wooden and will withstand several pairs of little hands.

If I had read the description I may not have purchased as it’s pretty small. I was looking for something a little more substantial but it serves it’s purpose.

Best material and my grandson is able to enjoy it,at the same timehe is learning to avoid plastic.

I think this is awesome and it has made multiplication so much for compelling for my son who learned in a Montessori setting (when he was 5-8 yrs old). The blocks are fairly small which is fine for a lower elementary age child. My only complaint is that you can see the tops of the answers when you are looking at the tray from a certain angle. I would have liked it to be a little more disguised.

Students of varying ages enjoy using this multiplication table board both as an independent activity as well as a 'game' to play with others. Each small wooden cube has a multiplication fact printed in the top with the product visible when you remove the cube from its location on the table. Some students have used it to practice their multiplication facts that they have not yet memorized while others use it as a game by removing the cubes and 'filling' the board again. It has been willingly used by students in second through fifth grade.

Great material and very economical at $13.47. My 3 year old insisted on turning the cubes so that the number answers were listed; good little pincer grasp activity for her. Then my 5 year old mixed up every single cube and I asked her why so she says "because I want you to have to think about it" -- I'm guessing she heard that one in school. I tinkered with it for a while, just 'cuz. Since Montessori materials are designed to invite exploring, it's a winner all around.

Great learning tool. The board is made well and is quite durable. The blocks are small and not the easiest for my son to place in the slots, so most of the time he will dump all the blocks out. I like to think of this as practice.

Smaller than I anticipated. Wound up setting it to the side because it really has small chokeable parts.
