Del Real Foods Gourmet Pork Tamales In Red Sauce

Love Del Real Foods other products...tamales not so much.pork and sauce could be much, much better. Hopefully they will get around to improving it.

I really wanted to like these but was very disappointed because the meat was so skimpy inside compared to the thick outer walls. Good flavor but they really need to pack way more protein inside. I will not buy again unless they improve this

Not bad flavor, not great flavor, but waaay too much masa. 10 tamales combined maybe has a cup of meat.

Loved the pork, at least last year. Beef were terrible! White , mushy and noooo flavor. Very disappointed !! What happened to your recipe???

These are horrid! They never tasted like this- I have bought these several times before- they’ve changed and my husband and I could barely eat these. Dumping the rest! The pork is no longer shredded it’s ground with I don’t know what is added!

Tamales were tasty but a bit dry. Not enough Chile inside with the pork. Masa had no taste, very bland and lots of corn meal. Corn husk does not cover entire tamale. Falls apart upon warming.Overall, it was a good tamale if you can’t make homemade!!

The masa tastes like wood pulp and the beef has no flavor. Trader Joes are much better.

These tamales were excellent. They arrived today, a week early. They were so flavorful with a hit of pepper. Very definite a New Mexico taste. I will have tamales for Thanksgiving that are so tasty and I will be pleased to serve. I will order again.
