Arrived on time and nicely packaged. These ADC shears are good quality at a great price.

Great deal for the price and I have yet to find a pair of shears so effective at such a low price. If you have the grip strength for it you can hack a penny in half, and if you lack the grip strength you can shoot a penny sideways out of them and piss off your cat. I knocked a star off because the handle is very cheaply made and while it holds up to abuse you need to de-flash it to make the damned thing simply uncomfortable. I still recommend rubber gripped scissors for most of your cutting needs. The cutting edges are lightly serrated, so while they make short work of paper products and cloth they have a tendency to leave a ragged edge that's poorly suited to delicate paper-craft or sewing. On the other hand scissors good for cloth and paper are unable to hack through sheet metal like it was paper.Modify the grips to be more comfortable, and these will serve you well in your heavy cutting for years.

The four star rating is for the shears which are a bit lightweight but more than sufficient for my purposes. This review is for the seller VetmedUSA. On May 25 I slammed the seller on feedback because the shears came postage due and I had to go to the post office to pay postage and pick them up. Today I was doing a little inbox maintenance and found an email stating that the purchase price plus tax was refunded. Checked the bank and sure enough there it was. I did not ask for a refund. They stepped up and did the right thing. FIVE STARS FOR THE SELLER. For those who complain about the quality of the shears, what did you expect for three bucks?? I couldn't update the seller review so I came here to give credit where credit is due.

Dollar-for-dollar, one of my favorite all-time purchases. Light, cheap, and cuts anything. I have a spare pair that live in garage, they can devour a penny, aluminum can, and they cut cotton-canvas restraints like paper: naturally denim doesn't stand a chance. I'd never spent a penny more than I had to, since shears like to disappear- so I was ecstatic to find such an inexpensive shear that works like a dream! My preference: my every-day-carry ICU shears are a little smaller (5 inch). Certain pants house the 7 inch shears with perfectly (my EMS pants), but if you want to split hairs.. 7 inch shears are bulky (with certain pants). I've put some miles on them, they still cut like brand new. The also double as the World's best junk-drawer/garage scissors!

These will do just fine, they cut well on everything I have tried. The added enjoyment of them was yesterday when I was at a local store and saw them there but at three times the price I got them here on Amazon for.If you are considering these to have around , just buy them, I bough a few pairs just to have them as back ups as well. They work great for removing bandages SAFELY, I wish I had these when I was changing out a bandage on a wounded pet three times a day - they make it SO much easier. Going to put a pair or two out in the tack room as well for when we wrap the horses legs.

I work with reptiles and often have to cut up food (rodents), and perform minor surgeries on the animals. These things cut through bone like butter!

They're exactly what it says they are: shears. They aren't the best shears, but they aren't anywhere near as bad as the crappy Pakistani shears you can find in some places. For under $7, they're pretty hard to beat. The rivet was tight with no wobble in the blades at all. I haven't put them to use yet, but they are very sharp and I expect they will perform well for at least a few uses. Shears at this price are more-or less disposable after a few uses, so all-in-all I'm happy with them.

These shears are just fine. They feel solid while cutting. I have cut a wide variety of materials and rope and does fine with each. The shear is stainless steel with a variety of colors for the plastic handle. The plastic itself looks pretty cheap, but not horrible. Made in Pakistan. The handle states "143°C AUTOCLAVE 290°F" and "Stainless Pakistan" and has a logo and serial number on the other side. I can see these lasting for a few years at least, but I'll update if something changes.
