This lovely, simple two-piece outfit is perfect for a day at the Renaissance Faire! It comes with both a lace-up, split-skirt overdress and a white chemise underdress. The full-length, long-sleeve poly/cotton white chemise has puffy sleeves and a very full body. The chemise is gathered at the wrists and neckline on elastic. The neckline can be worn on or off the shoulders! The separate overdress has a fitted bodice that laces up the front with lacing at three sets of grommets. The bodice is fully lined for extra structure and support. The gown has a fuller skirt gathered into the bodice with a slit-front opening so the under-chemise can show when you walk. The gown is high waisted (use your rib/underbust measurement to fit the waistline for this dress). It is made from a soft moleskin, which is a self-draping microfiber. Perfect! ....almost!
So in love with this dress! I was almost expecting a Halloween costume feel to it, but that is not the case with this one. The material and construction are of good quality, almost as if I had a seamstress custom make this garment just for me. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is because the brocade braiding around the empire waist is frayed on the left side, where it ends at the opening, and also the ribbon is rather flimsy but I can buy a stronger cord to lace it up.

Great quality... I was worried that it would be cheaply made, but it is a nice, sturdy dress and gown. I plan to use it in the years to come.

This blue Medieval/Renaissance dress is fantastic! It is so pretty. It also surprisingly warm I can't wait to wear it out. I'm thinking about wearing it on the first day of second semester. Haha.
