too good to be true.
The bag has all the bells and whistles yes. But however after one use in the Scottish highlands most of the seams tore and one zipper broke. I didn't even pack it full. Lastly the stabilizer straps on top do not stay tight. Neither does the belt. I needed to tie the straps in order to keep it secure. Not worth it even for the low price. It would have been if I would have gotten a reply from their customer service, but the company wouldn't even email me back about the bags shortcomings. An apology for spending money on a bag that won't even last one trip would have been enough. Ignoring their customers is only going to make them lose accountability. Not worth a purchase.

Decent pack, quality issues
I bought the orange version of this pack in February 2013. I was concerned at first, because the pack had a footprint on the inside when I received it, and it appeared to still be inside the original packaging! However, my family had a nice day trip planned, and my former bag was not going to be sufficient. I should have returned it then, but i didnt want to get something overpriced from Dick's, and the rest of the pack seemed fine. It was a pretty good price for the size - $130 for 65 liters. I especially liked that you could turtle the cadet bag on the front, I envisioned that being handy on a weekend backpacking trip. The pack also fits great, very comfortable. I really like their strap/belt system. So, i convinced myself that every thing was fine. This far, I've only stripped it down (main bag only, all removables off) to use for day hikes with the family 4 times. Carrying snacks, first aid kit, jackets, etc - nothing heavy or intense. And that's where my issues arise - the stitching is coming out in various places on the inside of the pack. The stitching on the zipper between the main compartment and the lower, sleeping bag area has started coming out. The elastic on the chest strap has torn free. the stitching holding the compass to the belt has also started coming out. nothing critical, but the bag was not exactly cheap, I expected something a little more durable - at least a year's worth of use! As an aside, the compass does not work well, good thing we were not relying on it! I had hoped to eventually use the bag for some weekend trips, but I'm not convinced I can rely on it. I'll continue to use it for short trips, but I would not recommend using it on anything longer than that. In all, the pack is OK, but has turned out to be a large disappointment. I don't want to get another pack so soon but may not have a choice. So, buyer beware - if Guerilla Packs can fix the quality issues this will become an excellent pack. Too late for me though.

Highly recommend
I took this pack on 4 week trip through Southeast Asia and it was fantastic! Very comfortable to wear, surprisingly spacious, lots of compartments, looks freaking awesome! My only complaint would be that the daypack is pretty small... another couple liters would have been perfect.

Voltji Pack
I ordered the Guerrilla Packs Voltij Travel Backpack with Detatchable Daypack (55-Liter + 10-Liter) from[[...]and since they do not have a way to leave review I decided to do this here. What the site has is a great price, as getting a supposed $219.00 bag at $65.00 + ship you can hardly beat such deal. The pack arrived within 3 days and I decided to give it a look over. The pack has a great design and a ton of great features. My main concern is getting the pack on the plain without having to check it in and as I am a big guy, I may be able to do this with this pack. I will discount the kiddie looking compass and thermometer, although even that may come in handy someday. The little day pack is surprisingly roomy and the laptop sheet is an added bonus, although I will unlikely drag one on a long road trip. I packed the main bag initially with about 95% of all the gear needed for a long trip and the weight just topped 38Lb.Reading other reviews, I expected that the seams were weak and indeed they were stretched and showing signs of rupture. I own a sewing machine and am not afraid to use it, so I took the pack apart and methodically went over all critical seams. I understand that one should not have to do this and not everyone will want to, to me it is worth the peace of mind and likely I would do this with other bags anyway.Bottom line is, this is a well design bag and my only suggestion to the manufacturer is get some better QC folks and make sure that the sewing process is done right.

Not the quality I was looking for
I bought this pack for a 3 week trip to the Dominican Republic and it ripped before I even left. Since I had no other options in such short notice I still used the bag. It does not fit comfortably, even when adjusting it for my height (I am 5'11), the metal frame of the bag comes out of the velcro pouch and it makes the bag lean to the sides and thus it does not stay on my back comfortably. I required help putting the pack on when picking it up from the ground because if I were to swing the pack onto my back (like you would a backpack), the frame falls out of the velcro pouch instantly, which makes the whole back tip over to the side. This was not a good product for a long trip and I paid way too much for poor quality. Maybe if you need to pack light and carry very little this could work for you.

Pack
Good pack. Wish the day pack was just a little larger. Great price. Bought this pack for a Europe trip and it should work just fine

Solid, Comfortable, Light Weight Pack - Especially For The Price.
Comfortable, light weight, and fits great. I used the packs on 2 separate 2 day trips. The first was hiking in Mammoth lakes and the second was hiking/camping in Mt. Whitney. I use to have a Gregory Baltoro but after It got shredded in a baggage claim I needed something new. I bought mine about 4 months ago when the Voltij model was $199. But now that it's $149 it's definitely a good buy.Pros: Detachable daypack, comfortable, price, nice looking bag.Cons: Wish it was 75L instead of 65. Too many straps, I didn't use.

Bad quality
I bought this pack to backpack across Europe with. No real hardcore camping, or hiking, just regular use. After about one week of using it, multiple seams started to tear. I wonder how many more would tear if it was to be put through extreme use. I would not buy this again because I expect good quality if I am spending $150 on a product. I will be buying a different one for my next trip and throwing this one in the trash.
