Antique Brass 8" Doctor Door Knocker - Bolt Centres 120mm

Too many imperfections on this knocker for my liking. Knocker doesn’t hit the strike plate flat and the rear was a little sharper than I wanted it to be. Not sharp in a dangerous way but just not what I was after. A lot cheaper than the competition but maybe just not the same quality item. Returned unfortunately.

Easy to install, loud and reasonably stylish period knocker. It's not perfect; the pin on which the knocker swings allows a bit too much play and looks like a weak link in what is otherwise a well made product, but this is, overall, a small quibble in what is otherwise a nicely finished door knocker, so still 5 stars overall.

It's a beautiful, solid brass (as far as I can tell) door knocker which looks fantastic on our new, very traditional, front door. So happy with it <3

Looks good, heavy and loud. Poor machining quality, lots of play on the hinge. Knocker flat surface doesn’t meet the strike pad flat in quite the right orientation which is a design error. But no one would ever notice any of this and half the price of all the other doctor knockers. Looks good and does the job.
