Solar Analogue Accuracy
I purchased the Casio AQ-S810W primarily because it has a large face and coupled with orange markers and an orange hour hand is simplicity itself to tell the time at a glance...and also because it is solar powered.Unlike other analogue watches with a date that requires manual adjustment when a month is less than 31 days duration, the Casio being radio controlled makes the adjustment itself so that not only is the correct time shown [currently BST] but also the date and even the day of the week. The digital display is of secondary import; it is small and the illuminator in question is very puny but to have to-the-second accuracy available at the push of a button is a useful extra. The traditional analogue sweep hand has been replaced by a numerical count and a segment counter working in unison such that the minute hand moves every 20 seconds. Both the numerical count and the segment counter are displayed to the right of the day display. In all probability the resin strap will die before the watch does and whereas there are plenty of expensive but bland strap replacements available a visit to Ali Express allows you to buy not only a new strap [a variety of colours to choose from] but also the matching plastic case that surrounds dial, complete with Casio lettering and replacement screws and all for less than a tenner.I have no use for any of the 5 alarms that the Casio is festooned with so cannot vouch for their veracity but this is a lightweight analogue [and digital] watch with amazing accuracy.Looks good, easy read, comfortable to wear, solar powered for the years ahead.Recommended for watch lovers.

Absolutely love it!
Love this watch although a little bit complicated to set up. Have had it a few months and keeps good time. Definitely value for money as someone (ex military) actually assumed it was a G Shock and asked where they could get one from as they were surprised it was solar. Fast delivery from USA thank you seller

Excellent every-day sports solar watch
Got this watch for Christmas as quite fancied the combination of analogue and digital display and the useful functions (multiple time zones and multiple alarms), particularly when combined with the solar charging. Very light and comfortable to wear. Quite attractive styling - relatively restrained compared to some other Casio creations. Nearly as tough as a G-Shock at a fraction of the price. Just wish it had mineral-glass and 200m water resistance like its predecessor 800 series.

Watch + Sunshine = Happy Ness.
Pro: Accurate timing for selected location.Con: It would be better if the whole face was illuminated rather than just the small Lcd display.

Good Watch
Good watch, great for out of GMT time zones, water proof.

Always robust
Casio G-shocks have always been cheap and virtually indestructible. It was a bit fiddly adjusting the time when it arrived, because it had been set to GMT and not British Summer Time. Great for hillwalking in the rain.

Great value G-shock without the cost -robust, functional watch, but digital display too small
Really like the design and straightforwardness of the analogue display - i have the watch in green and black and much prefer the look of the green version. There is also a gaudy looking but tempting red strap version. The +or - hour facility and the many time zones are a useful facility on a watch of this price. Overall great value and robust, almost G-shock quality for minimal cost...
