1 KiloWatt Antenna Balun Kit with T-200-2 core, Type 2

Good kit. Works as advertised.

Being a fan of winding my own baluns, this came in very handy. Buying the parts separately is much more expensive. It is a bare bones kit, you will need to add some tape to hold things in place if you want it pretty. I was able to make 2 4:1 baluns from this kit. Good quality parts made it much more enjoyable.

The core and wire were fine. But as noted elsewhere, you need to be an amateur radio operator to know what to do with them. No directions.

It really needs instructions with it.

These work fine although I used insulated wire of my own instead of the enameled wire in the kit. It didn't matter to me but I was surprised that they call it a kit but don't have any instructions for those who might not know how to use it.
