This is an excellent ring for the price. My original wedding ring would no longer fit after 31+ years of use and also after arthritis damage had occured in the finger joints and I wanted a replacement. This looks like a real 14k to 16k gold ring. The gold color or gold color is holding up very good and there is no indication that the gold color or plating is going to wear off or come flaking off as some cheap rings are prone to doing. It is also very hard material and will not dent if the ring is bumped against a hard surface. This is an excellent product for the price. I have purchased 2 of these and put the other away in case this begins to show wear, which it hasn't done so far. It does not appear that I am going to need the extra ring or at least for a long long time.

The gold on this is REALLY gold. Nice thumb ring though.

My husband has been wearing this ring as his temporary band for almost a year now, its held up fantastically.It gets kind of scratched up, but thats fine in my opinion. if your wanting this to be more permanent, maybe you can re-plate it as it gets older. Although with us we're planning on just replacing ours (I have the 4mm one) since its so inexpensive when it starts to look really bad. But so far, so good. Maybe it'll never need to be replaced :)highly recommended!

I am very happy with the purchase of this ring. It arrived quickly and is very shiny and polished. I cannot tell the difference between my real gold ring and this one. If someone is looking for a ring to stand in until they are financially able to purchase real gold, I would recommend this one.

Nobody could guess this is not a solid gold ring. It is a year later and it still looks as good as new. At this price, you can buy a new ring every year without any concern for your financial standing.

I used them for props in a student film and have to say that I was pretty darn pleased with them.
