Great fishing pliers.....!
The pliers seem to work well on my first stream fishing for trout. The pliers are very sturdy and well made. The curved split ring nose does not seem to get in the way when trying to remove hooks from fish. The one advantage that sold me on these pliers over the rest is that you can order more nose pieces if required down the road. As with most of you that are looking to buy one, I have had several pliers that became useless once they are bent but with these you can just replacement the nose/teeth for $12-13 bucks. This is what sold me on buying these and the expense. I think you will like them as I have. It comes with a holster and cord which is nice. My entire family wants one now. :) Fish on and have a wonderful day!!!

Great Pliers, Sucky Holster
The pliers themselves are very solid and the ergonomics are what I wanted. However I can't give 5 stars because the pouch / belt clip is terrible. It spins freely instead of holding steady into a position you want at your side. The flab that uses velcro to keep the pliers in doesn't work so when the holster spins the pliers pretty well fall out. A real shame to buy $40 pliers and end up having the holster be such an annoyance.

Just don't expect anything made out of aluminum to hold up and you will not be disappointed. The cutter blades move around. the jaws move around. its impossible without fabricating a special tool to tighten the jaws once they slip. I've tried several brands, none are good. stick with solid stainless pliers.

Great value for the money!!
Great fishing pliers: light, durable, comfortable, fit smaller hands really really well. Love that they come with their own sheath and lanyard. Side cutters cut braid, wire and heavy mono. Would recommend them for field or bench.

Perfect for freshwater fishing
I love these fishing pliers. The grip is excellent, and it feels good in your hand. I prefer using larger fishing pliers, but this is just the right size for freshwater fishing--trout, bass, etcetera.

Not worth the money!
Do not buy these. I used them a total of 3 times and one side of the cutter has already fallen off somewhere. Now I see why the replacement parts are advertised everywhere. I emailed the manufacturer and am still awaiting a reply.
