Great paraffin wax. It melts quickly, is easy to work with, and performs perfectly for candle making and other projects. The blocks are well-packaged and high quality. Highly recommended.

truly amazed. it did arrive the next day BEFORE I was up. it's food grade wax, just what can one say about it.

For $26 I got 3 bars. 9" long, 2.75" wide x 1.5" high. I cut 2" off the length to see how much I get... Looks like about 9 ounces worth. So half a bar will equal a full 14oz jar. I've reused 20 different jars with no issues. Wax melted nicely. Havent lit candle yet. Only 4 stars because price seems a bit high only able to make 6 full jars which comes out to $4.33 per jar. Might as well buy them already made.

When I first looked at this wax, I thought it was to small. Turned out to be a lot more than I expected. I've put it on a amazon subscription now.

I use paraffin wax, for hot waxing my bike chains. Hot wax is an alternative to oil based grease as chain lubricant. The great thing about wax is that it does not collect dust and grime like grease. This is a great value if buying in bulk. I got 6x 1-lb blocks for $30. In comparison, there are bike specific wax formulas. That cost around 10x more than these generic paraffin wax. For my purpose, this is a great buy. These are just generic paraffin. No color; no scent; no smell. The only potential downside is that each block is 1-lb. Depending on your needs. If you need less than 1-lb, you will have to break or cut the block, which is not easy.

I ordered 6 ,1 # bars of wax. They came in a box unwrapped. The bars of wax did not stick together (thank goodness!). I purchased these to seal dehydrated foods in glass bottles. Worked great! Oxygen absorber added to bottle, then bottle turned so lid was submerged in liquid wax. Bubbles indicate wax is removing air around lid. Store upsidedown in warm climates so any melted wax stays in lid. Seal is Great. I have done this & I am pleased. I heated 1 # wax in slow cooker in microwave then put it in slow cooker on high. Slow cooker is 1 1/2 quarts. This works great Keeps rodents & bugs out of food. I am pleased. 1 # wax does lots of jars.

The paraffin is not refined at all, it causes dirt and didn't come with the company packaging, It's another quality not the mentioned one,,,,not recommended
