The media could not be loaded.  These are fun to program and work flawlessly with any IR device. I use these to control my fireplaces, fans, TV, Fairy Lights both inside and out as this is powerful enough to reach outside. Many more little things like Christmas ornaments etc. that work with IR. I even have it programmed to log me into my Plex master account on Shield TV by punching in my code by going up, down and enter. Anything that your imagination can think to do, this will do with an IR device. Integration with Alexa is also flawless. A perfect top off to my connected home. Highly recommend!

It can either control the TV or the cable box.......but not both.

I am pretty disappointed with the performance of this device:1. It will not control audio systems that are typically used with home theater TVs except by using a DIY setup.2. There are actually very few devices it can control without DIY. Basically only TVs, Set top boxes and DVD players.3. DVD players are not recognized by Alexa and do not show up when setting up a scene.4. DIY devices are not recognized by Alexa and again do not show up in scenes.5. You can control very few things about the TV with Alexa. Only On/Off and Volume. You cannot even control the TV input.Not being able to control DVD, Audio Systems, and DIY with Alexa is a pain but if you could create scenes with devices turned on/off and set to the correct input, and Alexa could recognize and setup those scenes, I think I could work with that. The fact that these devices don’t show up when you try to create a scene, makes the universal remote pretty much useless.To make matters even worse, I wrote an email to the support address the company puts in the manual and I received no response.

I got 2 of these for a steal and they work well. You can not trigger commands with alexa on functions you create via DIY. Only bummer about these other than the micro USB connector is not aligned well with the enclosure. Can be tough to plug in. Had to send 1 back due to intermittent power connection. VERY light! Overall, I'm satisfied.

This IR blaster works great and works well with Alexa. 10 minutes after unboxing it, I had it turning on my TV, cable box, sound bar and electric fireplace with Alexa voice commands. In the TuyaSmart app I created a smart scene that turns on the TV, cable box and sound bar with the command “Turn on Den TV”. My Napoleon electric fireplace requires two presses of the off button to turn it off. One to wake it and one to turn it off. In the smart scenes in Tuya, it actually has a time lapse option which I used to create a smart routine to turn it off. The “Fireplace off” routine sends a fireplace power command, then a one second time lapse and then another fireplace power command, which worked perfect. The Zesty does not recognize my Hampton Bay ceiling fan remote, which is probably due to the frequency of the Hampton Bay remote. The one issue they need to fix is the items you have to do a DIY set up, you cannot do voice control with.

The media could not be loaded.  It was cheap, easy to setup and easy to connect to Alexa.So far all I use it for is turn TV on and off and muting. Can’t say how it works for anything else. Also have it setup in a routine when I say goodnight Alexa turns off TV and all the lights and fans in living room.

This is a great gadget to control things like TVs and fans that you can’t control just by switching the power on and off with a smart plug. This smart IR remote actually works better with my Samsung LED tv than the wifi remote app from Samsung. Setup was pretty simple. I’m looking forward to using this on my portable air conditioner this summer.

I bought 2 of these one or the front room one for the bed room to control my TVs I first attempted to read the directions I could not because the the instructions were on a 3 inch fold out booklet the print was barley large enough to read the I and my wife could not see the pictures with further info I went to the Amazon web site and there was no more details than we could see on the instructions maybe less I looked for videos and web sites to find further information on the set up and could not find any I worked with both of the Smart IRs thinking maybe I had at least one bad one but no I could not get any of my devices Android to see the devices to complete the setup I worked for 5 hours strait and could not get the Smart IRs to appear on my Android devices I ask for a refund and bought 2 different brand Smart IR devices I am fairly good with electronics but was one of the worst experiences I have ever had if I could give this item a minus star I would
