Not worth £8.99
While it does say 'bird feeder rain guard' all the photos show it on a feeder, and while it might be my fault for assuming it came with a feeder, at £8.99 it was a reasonable assumption. I haven't tried it yet but, I would think there might be a problem getting it to slide onto some feeders

Good for what I needed.
I needed to get some rubber "o" rings to get it to fit the feeders as hole was wider than my feeders but no big deal, bought these to modify my feeders to prevent starlings from raiding them, does the job, only thing I will say is I think they could have been cheaper for what they are. Maybe £5 or less.

Good item. Does what it says on the box!
A little bit difficult to fit on to the nut feeder but looks like it will help keep the food dry.

Good Idea
This product works well once fitted but it will only fit on the thinner feeders, it does not state on the specifications that it is designed for one particular type of feeder, had to buy a special feeder in order to use it. However it does work well & keeps the seed dryer, when fitting I recommend you warm it in hot water first to make it more flexible to push on.

Only fits one type of feeder and that's the cage feeder only perfect fit .
very bendy so u can fit around all cage type bird feeders not the plastic ones it's too small I have both so it fit one of mine not thee other.I have happy birds with dry food now .

Completes the ensemble.
I bought this along with a seed feeder and a tray to catch the seeds that usually fall to the ground as I have seen a rat eating the dropped seeds. It was difficult to slide it on to the feeder but you can soften it with warm water and a little bit of washing up liquid lubricates it. The whole combination is great and once the birds get the hang of it they like it too as they can perch on the tray and three or four of them can land on it at once, they spend a longer time on the feeder so it's more of a pleasure to watch them.
