I was excited to invest in a good cutting mat. When it arrived, it was delivered without any protective packaging. Just the mat with delivery stickers STUCK TO IT. Which means I have spent the last hour trying to get rid of sticky residue on the mat from the stickers! I understand the mat is huge and packaging of that size is hard to find but there has to be a better way. I can’t even review the product itself cos I’m waiting to see if the residue can come off before I put any fabric on it. Ridiculous!

I love this mat, fantastic size and the contrasting colours help with different materials. It is really great quality and easy to maintain with a wipe down from a damp cloth. One down side is that the numbers are only in one direction, so you either have to do maths or turn the board every time but this doesn't bother me as I use a ruler to measure.

Better design than my old Fiskars mat that I bought this one to replace. Reaches a full 36", and has extra set of numbers around border, also angle marks are better placed. Fiskars warns to be careful with deep cuts, so maybe it is made of different material than previous, but seems fine.
