After looking at many brands in this price range I decided to pull the trigger on this one due to the more durable material (210t rip stop with poly coating) and the dedicated eyelets for pitching it in porch mode. It was also one of the largest fly's in this price range, I was able to even set a second hammock up underneath. I had one issue (which turned out was my fault. The rain fly is designed to only have the reinforced ends be under tension and the center loop in the middle to ride along a ridge line. I used a prussik knot and cinched it down in high winds. After two days the lope threads started to pull out leaving a tiny hole.) I was going to ding them a star in this review but decided to contact the company via email explaining the issue. They were friendly and professional. I was completely blown away with their customer service that went above and beyond my expectations. Nice to see a company stand behind their product and customers. I will be doing business with them in the future. I've taken it out several times now and has kept my family, myself and squatch nice and dry in unexpected thunder storms.

I just ordered this tarp, and it arrived within 2 days with Prime shipping. Packaging was basic, but really that's all that is required. The tarp looks decent, and I appreciate it came with stakes and lines. I will be taking it out this weekend, and will have a more hands on review after that point, but my initial impression is positive. I like that the corners have loops as well as grommets, giving some variety in how to rig the tarp. I don't really see the point of the compression strap on the stuff sack though, particularly without having loops on the side of the sack to keep the strap in place. It slides off pretty easily without them. All in all, it looks like a good product and a decent price point. I'll update my review after this weekend. Looks like wind and rain, so it will for sure get put to the test.

I bought this tarp to have a larger protected area for my hammock, but used it this weekend, for a common cooking, sitting and gear protection area during A LOT of rain at Red River Gorge, KY.It got quite a workout when a tree fell on our campsite - snapped two guylines but the grommets, tie out tabs, tarp/rainfly are still perfect!It also dried quickly and had zero leaks or issues.Thanks for a great product!

My husband bought this for camping in the desert during the winter. He is pleased with all the grommets and tie-downs and the strength of fabric seems to be of high quality. He is trying it our for the first time now and we can report back after he returns.

Definitely kept me dry. The little metal locking tabs on the rope are about as useful as wet toilet paper, I ended up just tying a simple knot to secure it to the tree.

Worked great in the rain and wind! The rope and stakes work great also!

Giving it a 3 star just because they material allows the sun to shine right through. Not much for protection from heat/sun. Your still able to feel it pretty tuff. Otherwise this product is good for protection from rain and is easy to set up and put away.

Seems to be a quality product.
