For my griddle, but arrived scuffed and scratched.
I find this useful when reheating pizza. I’m sure I’ll find other uses! It arrived with several surfaces scuffed as if with sandpaper. No effect on its usefulness so I’m going to keep it. I’d call it a bit expensive considering the poor quality control.

Fits Lodge 12" Griddle Perfectly!
I love using my Lodge square griddle, but finding the right cover to contain the heat (gotta melt that cheese!) and contain the splatters has been a challenge. Round lids are everywhere, but they take away from the available working area. Enter this 10" square lid. This is a perfect fit over the cooking area of the griddle. Tried it on some burgers earlier and it was perfect. Helped reduce my clean-up time on the range top too. If you have the 12" Lodge griddle, this is a must-have addition.

Square is better
Love this! Works great with my outdoor griddle. Helps cook chicken wings faster and also melt cheeses. Love that it is square. Fits more under it than the circle ones. Also, the plastic knob is great because it doesn't get hot and I don't need an oven mitt to use it. Definitely recommend!

Dimensions are not quite accurate
This square aluminum basting cover is good quality, but the dimensions specified in the product description are not correct. The inside dimension is 10 inches. However, the bottom edges of the sides flair outward, which means the dimension at the point where the cover meets the grill or griddle is actually 10-5/8 inches. I bought this to use on a griddle. I measured the surface correctly to make sure that a 10-inch cover would fit. However, 10-5/8 inches is too wide. Very disappointing, so I will be returning it.

Nice lid, check your parts before opening!
The lid itself is nice 14 gauge pressed aluminum with clean edges and brushed finish. But it was also missing the knob that attaches on top. The screw was in place, but no knob. The shrink wrap packaging on the item itself appears to have been torn sometime before being boxed for shipment. Not sure if that shrink wrap is a function of the supplier or Amazon, hence the three star rating. I would normally have returned this item if I didn't have a spare knob lying around from an old lid. Too much trouble to return it when I have the parts on hand that would otherwise likely end up in the trash. The lid is nice. I'd buy another if I needed it.
