My husband has struggled with keeping well maintained beard mostly because as it grows it gets curly. He’s tried using my straightening iron and burned his self-one too many times. I saw this product and thought I’d take a chance. Well I’m happy to say I did! So easy to use and he has been using it for over a year now and not one burn. It also does not dry out his hair making his beard much softer. He puts on a little beard oil before he uses it and it works great! Do yourself a favor and try one of these, don’t let the inexpensive price fool you, it’s a great product!

This is the second beard straightener I've owned, my first from Aberlite. I love the digital heat setting, the quality of the materials, and the value for this straightener. The combs are evenly spaced out but just a little more than I prefer for my beard. However, the combs themselves are of much better quality than a competitor's I've used. The only drawback is that it lacks a swivel connect where the cord and straightener meet. For me, this means I often have to use my other hand to keep the cord out of the way. However, the functionality and the value of this straightener supersedes any drawbacks. An added bonus is that Aberlite includes a travel case as well. I recommend this product!

Aberlite EDC - Premium Beard Straightener works well on my 43 yr old son’s unruly beard. He is a Pastor in a Church, also teaches Theology and needs to look (and feel) as neat as possible. His unruly beard was getting out of control and he really didn’t want to cut it. So he said something like this would help. I gifted it to him and he said he is so happy with it. He said not only is it quick and easy but it heats up almost immediatly. It also has a safety shut off, not that he would forget to turn it off and put it somewhere safe with a little one in the house but he said it’s a good feature to have regardless. The only smell it had was the first time he used it, other than that it was the type of thing you get when first using a curling iron or toaster. He said it’s extremely light weight and while the. bristles aren’t soft they certainly do not hurt when using. He said this was a great gift which he personally wouldn’t have been able to afford which I feel was a bit pricey but when compared to the straightening irons women and girls get this was nothing compared to that. I also feel when he has to travel he will have no issue due to the small nature of this item. I am glad I made this purchase because Moms always want to see their sons happy at any age. Also looking neat and presentable.

I’ve been using it for a few days now and I’m very pleased. I have a curly beard about 3/4-1 inch in length. Before using this, I had to brush it a few times a day to tame it. I’m still experimenting with it and I haven’t gotten the hair fully straight but it removes the curls and make my beard lay more uniformly which gives it a more “kept” appearance. It also requires little to no brushing throughout the day. It’s also very quick and easy to use. It adds little time to my morning routine.

Worked great until it didn't. Worked great for 8 months, then sparked and stopped working.

Gets hot quick, and really straightens my chaotic beard and mustache. I thought I would always have to glue my mustache down to keep it from looking like a tumbleweed on my face, but this product made the difference. Thanks!
