While I am not completely sure I love these. I am being sent continual emails to review this item. People need time to write a true response to a product. I bought these because I am legally blind and trying always to find products to help prevent spills. I have only used them a couple of times. The glass straw feels weird. But they are quality it seems. I wanted something I could use for coffee in my Tervis glasses. I admit I am afraid if I break one without knowing I will be cut. So I plan to treat them with care even though they seem strong, but it's glass. They are nice enough to send you a wonderful little brush to clean them with. I pray I can keep up with that!I think I will still look for a plastic that will not release toxins, etc. safe for heated drinks. My family is afraid for me with these. I appreciate that because they have had to take to the emergency room a few times.

I purchased these straws specifically for drinking my water with lemon and cayenne pepper concoction every single morning. Sipping the water through straws helps reduce the acidic effect to the enamel for the front of my teeth. These glass straws are great, non-toxic, and I like the green and blue colors. They are long lasting and easy to clean. I no longer feel guilty throwing away plastic straws and adding to the ever growing landfills. The only thing I regret is not getting shorter glass straws to fit in my mugs a little better. Other than that, I recommend getting these if you are looking for high quality and longer straws.

I decided to try this reusable straw first after researching available options,I liking that it's made of nonreactive glass. The length is just right-about the same as a standard plastic straw. The width is larger and the rigidity takes getting used to. Will probably look into a silicone/rubber tip to soften the end. One negative is that I don't care to be repeated requested by sellers to review their product- If they do --limit to one email please.

5 SOLID STARS ALL AROUND!!! It is a good idea to use glass straws for healthier living if you use straws on a regular basis. Unlike steel straws, glass do not harbor a metal/metallic aftertaste and neither does it corrode in juices. I have purchased the straight straws and was pleased, thus ordered these bent straws, as they are a bit longer and can be used in taller glasses. The colors are rich and bold. The tips are rounded for safety and the thickness is substantial also, for safety. These straws are not delicate and certainly are quite attractive. Proudly handmade here in the good ol' U.S. of A! You will not be disappointed with this purchase!

These glass straws have worked out perfectly for us. After finishing a large pack of plastic straws, I looked for a more eco-friendly alternative. I wanted something my toddler son could use for drinking smoothies. I was a little worried that the glass straws might break, but they are very thick and sturdy. I chose the pack with two colors, so I can offer my toddler blue or green. The other Hummingbird straws that come with little figurines on them would be perfect as party favors! I'm glad I chose glass over silicone straws, since I can't stand a plastic taste in my mouth. I highly recommend these for use at home.

Beautiful, hand-crafted glass straws!, made right here in the great US of A!We love the straws -- so much that we ended up buying several more as gifts shortly thereafter! They seem quite durable, do swell in the dishwasher, and compliment our morning smoothies wonderfully... of course, it feels wonderful to avoid throwing out plastic straw-after-plastic straw, as well.Customer service is awesome too, as we had a couple follow-up questions, and Dakota responded quickly and super nicely.My only "complaint" is that there are too many options: bent, straight, sizing (inner diameter, length)... it's too hard to figure out what's perfect without holding them in my hand! :) Oh... and we'd like some boba-sized straws, please! :D

These glass straws are another 'Green' step for us, especially living in an Airstream full time. We do our best to reduce waste and use eco-products. Using these glass straws take the place of the plastic straws. Hummingbird glass straws are beautiful, well crafted glass. The colors are vibrant. One draw back was they are larger in diameter as compared to a normal plastic straw so we are unable to use with our YETI travel mugs. The glass straws are used every day. Easy to wash. And they come with their very own pipe cleaner which makes washing them a breeze.Great products!!! Will definitely purchase more if our original ever break/crack.

They shipped without incident and they are beautifully made. I love the colors of the green one especially, the blue is a little darker than I anticipated. And I do wish I'd gone with the 8 inch instead of the 9 inch as they are a tad bit awkward in some of my glasses, but I plan on ordering more in the 8 inch size next to see the difference. They are smooth and surprisingly easy to drink from once you get used to it, they are a little wider than paper or plastic straws. Already ran them through the dishwasher a few times and they have held up perfectly.
