Martha Stewart Real Copper Bird Feeder W/ 4 Feeding Ports

I gave this as a gift to my adult son. He loved it. He thought he was done landscaping. He put this between 2 hydrangea trees. It was the detail that pulled his garden border together.

It's well constructed and has a unique look. The seeds gravity pour into the tray nicely. Birds did not take to it even though a nearby tree is full of them, after two weeks I hung a realistic bird ornament nearby and some finches started showing up.

I love the look and how easy it is to fill… and of course Martha 😁 BUT 6 months later…grrr… it will NOT stay together. The locking nut and washer/nut system doesn’t hold up. I end up with a pile of birdseed on the ground and a cracked glass bird feeder ☹️

Love this bird feeder. Rich looking and is beautiful hanging in my yard. Hummingbirds love it!!!

This birdfeeder is very attractive but just try to fill it! It took 2 hours for me to unscrew the top, then all the bolts and washers came loose (there are at least 10) and no instructions to explain how tp put it back together. When it is filled, large seeds get stuck in the openings. As the feeder hangs and the wind blows, it gradually unscrews, comes loose, and constantly makes this clanging noise. I am usually impressed with Martha Stewart products but NOT this one.

Expected more for the price and using Martha’s seed with the feeder it should work better. The seed gets clogged and continually having to unclog it. It is also spotted on the copper from sprinkler system the very first week.

The top part that is removed to fill the seed has a screw type hook to hang the unit. The screw is very, very difficult to put back on. It is so frustrating. I would not buy this again.

The feeder is tarnished after one week, it also spins in the wind and entire thing falls off the screw mounted hanging loop. No lock washer or bolt to hold it securely. So disappointed - paid the higher price for what I thought would be a quality made copper feeder - just as chintzy as the others.
