Our Room thermometer Card and Duck Bath Safety Thermometer, are a fast and reliable way to check for the correct temperature of baby's room and bath water. Just place bath thermometer in the water for a few seconds and if the water is the correct temperature the red bar will indicate the sensible temperature, as described in the instructions on the rear of the card. The thermometer will also show when the water is too cold or too warm. Please note: The reading must be taken when held under the water for a few seconds and the water must come fully into contact with the thermometer strip. The margin of safe/comfortable water temperature lies around 37C. A bath thermometer is for guidance only and is not a substitute for parents' personally testing the water temperature before putting baby in the bath. Our baby bath thermometers are made from 500micron White Polypropylene. Our best selling Farm Yard Animals Nursery/Room Thermometer cards ensure that an infant's room is not dangerously too hot or uncomfortably too cold. Place this Room thermometer on a wall near the baby's cot so you always know if baby is sleeping in a room of the correct temperature. The perfect nursery room temperature should be maintained at between 16-20°C as shown by green bars on the scale as recommended by The Lullaby Trust and SCDT. If baby's room is too cold, then the thermometer scale shows only one blue bar. If the room temperature starts to get too warm the thermometer scale will increase above the green blocks and display the higher reading in orange, and then increases to red when it is too hot. Our room thermometer cards are laminated for durability, manufactured from FSC Certified Paper from managed forests and are acid and chlorine free. Dimensions: 105mm x 148mm. All our thermometers are made to ISO9001 World Standards and Procedures.
