this antique looking items not only looks the part but the aroma of the leather each time I go to write in its pages which by the way are beautifully crafted in a wayas if u took toilet paper and pressed it together to make the sheep that form pages which by the way is made of paper also so excuse the innuendo but I had to put it in a detailed image for you. The book is beautifully crafted and stitch very very well. please note the leather will be very stiff when you first get it this I do believe will soften over time

When you hear the words "partchment paper" what's the first thing that comes to mind? Perhaps yellowed scrolls curled with age or maybe just a slightly textured writing pad that is good at absorbing ink. Well in either case you would be right. However this company believes that the term "partchment paper" means recycled news paper. On some of my pages there were still some letters of the recycled paper yet on another there was a piece of plastic (neither partchment nor paper) bulging out like a zit. And that is just the paper... The leather is old tennis shoe leftovers stained brown by a guy who was too busy sniffing the glue he attached the leather lace work to notice it was pooling in the center of the cover. After all of that he didn't even glue the laces on well and had to later be reattached by a disgruntled customer. This garbage is pushing 30 bucks. If you spent 30 bucks on used outhouse toilet paper you would have better "partchment paper" and better looking higher quality leather than this product offers.I am very disappointed.
