I was searching for a healthy alternative to ketchup and heard about Chef Hugo's Chut Up's beet ketchup. It was absolutely delicious- plus, its made from all natural ingredients with no added sugar. I bought the variety pack so I could also sample the peri peri hot sauce and the apple & caramelized onion chutney. I used the chutney on a pork loin and my guests loved it... maybe just as important, they loved the packaging. If your New Year’s resolution is to “eat better” then Chut Up Condiments, created by Chef Hugo Uys, is a wonderful way to achieve your goal. Chef Hugo put his own spin on these by creating a healthier and better for you condiments. These are great alternatives to sugary, preservative filled condiments that are on the market. The Peri Peri Hot Sauce is simply delicious and has a great kick. My family loves to add this to tacos, soups, and we have mixed it in our guacamole for an extra kick. For the Super Bowl earlier this month, we spiced up chicken wings with the Peri Peri Hot Sauce. My family is enjoying all three products. We have spread the Apple and Caramelized Onion Chutney on sandwiches and crackers and the Beet Ketchup is great with fries. So delicious!

I have been Paleo for almost 7 years and in the last year I started to lean a little more towards AIP, which means no tomatoes. This ketchup has great flavor; the spices are perfect. I am on my second order. At first, you can really taste the beets, and for me, I am not used to beets so I thought it was just "OK". But you do get used to it very fast. This is a little thinner and more watery than regular ketchup, but only slightly. Its a very healthy and tasty alternative! I don't think anyone who is used to healthy eating and alternative foods, would be disappointed.

I hesitate in rating with stars. The taste is great and I really, really liked it, but I'm currently healing from candida overgrowth and just beginning to add a few things back into my diet, the beets made me really sick. I tried it three times just to make sure and each time I was quite sick. So as for taste, it is amazing, I just unfortunately cannot have it.

For what this is, it's good. It's a chutney without all the sugar and garbage ingredients, and for that I applaud it. It tastes good, but if you just want good old, super sweet and savory chutney, this may not fit the bill. We ate it on cheese with crackers at a party we had. It went over pretty well, and if a healthier alternative is what you're looking for, you can't go wrong.

Just got this today and it’s unusable. I’m very disappointed! The jar came with the lid popped up, total safety issue. Lid is also indented on the sides. I’m worried this can be a botulism issue. Now when I try to start the return process I’m directed to a page that says this is non returnable. So frustrating. I would like a (safe) replacement from the seller

This was a gift for my husband in his Easter basket. He LOVES beets almost as much as I hate them. He convinced me to try this and it was absolutely delicious. My mouth waters now thinking of it! While I haven't converted into a beet-lover, I will definitely be buying this again!

This is SO GOOD. I can’t eat tomatoes, so I’m very grateful for this superb substitute. Really good with sweet potato fries. My family said they like this even better than tomato ketchup. Customer service is excellent as well.
