I had recently adopted a cat that had been stray for 8 years. Initially I was not going to trim her claws as they weren't too long and she still likes to go outside so she'd still be able to hunt as efficiently as before and protect herself against bully cats. However whenever I played with her her little paws would get stuck together sometimes due to her claws so this was when I knew I had to trim them.I'd had cats in the past and was not impressed with the claw clippers they always would cause discomfort on my cats or crush their nails. I didn't want my Lilly to have a bad first time experience so after a lot of research I settled on these due to wanting something as sharp as possible.Safe to say this was worth every penny. I was able to do a whole paw while she was sleeping and she barely even reacted or pulled away. Do keep in mind that I had tested beforehand that she's okay with me touching her paws and we are at a place where she trusts me.I wanted to trim only the very ends that were sharp and was successfully able to trim them with precision and it was very smooth I barely had to apply any force. She did not flinch or pull away.I will continue to work on trimming her other claws now I know she's had a good experience with it. If you're looking for something that actually works and is not a gimmick I highly recommend!

I purchased these based on the reviews. I have never cut my cats’ nails before as this has always been done by the Vet or my sister (who has several cats and cuts all their nails). I bought proper cat clippers before and didn’t feel confident in using them as they were so chunky. Due to lockdown and no Vet or sister visits, I was faced with one cat constantly nibbling his nails (which then leads to bleeding), I bought these. They are as manageable as my own nail scissors and give a good view of what you are cutting. That was my main concern. They give a quick, clean cut and I have managed a few nails now. They are expensive but are made so well they give that little bit of confidence so worth it in my opinion. It is definitely a two person job though. I’ve been lucky that my cat is so placid.

Very good and easy to handle and I highly recommend it. Just remember even the best nail cutters can't make up for a bad human handler! Cut with care and keep your cat calm and under control. Then these are certainly one of the best cat nail cutters around.

Our cat has quite thick nails so we need a good, sharp pair of nail clippers. Having previously been disappointed with some cat nail clippers which had hype in the marketing, ‘vet endorsed’, good reviews etc but turned out to be really poor quality, uncomfortable, stiff and completely blunt, I did quite a lot of research to find some which were actually good, and this is it. The difference is staggering.These ones are crazy sharp. They feel really well built. They are made in Japan. They're comfortable, shaped in a sensible way to actually be used. The length is just a touch longer for better leverage and comfort than the pair I had before. They glide open and closed perfectly. They look and feel good to use. They also feel like they will last a long time.Would recommend these to anyone who’ll listen!
