Excellent value just what I needed.

Have yet to experience heavy rain or apply a power hose nearby yet. They have push outs for fixing to a wall, but no pushouts for allowing cables in or out. There is inevitably the question of how watertight you can make those holes with assorted washers, grommets and sealant.

Box and sealing arrangement looks fine, good price. However, I had to contact the seller to say the lid fixing screws are so tight the Philips screwdriver is slipping with over 5mm still to go to seal the lid. The seller said there was nothing wrong with the screws, they are just tight as they are cutting a thread. By using a socket attachment and T-bar and putting all my weight on it I finally got the screws in sufficiently. I have been using boxes such as this with captured screws for over 40 years and never had to work so hard to fit 4 small 22mm screws. The hole depth is fine but the hole the tread cuts into in the box is too small or the thread too large or blunt resulting in an unnecessary amount of effort to screw them down. This problem results in the low scores for weatherproof, ease of installation and easy to use.
