Premium Large Antler - ONE Pound (+/- an Ounce) Variety Pack - Top Dog Chews

My dogs (shih tzu, irish doodle and pit/ boxer mix) love these. They especially loved the ones that they were split open so they could access the the different textures. They don't stink up my house. Very durable and didn't make a mess, even with my aggressive chewer! I would definitely buy again.

This pack had 4 bones in it. 2 were extra large(I thought these would last a while) and white in appearance. I gave one to each of my dogs. My dogs loved them but I would not buy again. One dog broke one in no time and my other dog woke up throwing up a white milky substance that night. I put these in the trash. It is not worth the risk.

It's probable that it weighs the amount advertised im not saying they shipped less than advertised it just sounds like you're going to get more than you are. Feels a bit over priced. I get a larger quantity of antlers when ordering from my normal place.

I was a bit worried because some of the other reviews were pretty negative. I'm not sure if the issues were resolved, if it might be a different seller, or a quality control issue.I had previously ordered from a different provider and was happy with the product. My dog, a 1 year old lab mix, really enjoys the antlers and will play with them, then go to town chewing on them. I needed to order some more but the price via the other seller had gone up about 15%. It was still good buy compared to the local pet store, but I decided to see if I could get a better deal.The puppy chews a lot at this point so he was burning through the quarter split antlers fairly quickly. I'd estimate 2-3 days if we let him have it all the time. We usually let him have the antler for an hour or two supervised and get a week out of them.It definitely isn't worth the price at the pet store (about half the cost of this entire bag for a single bone).I considered marking this down 1 star because it wasn't exactly what I expected. The image shows some split antlers. The puppy very much enjoys the split ones because it's easier to get to the marrow.The package I received had 4 large antler pieces, I'd say no less than 8 inches and as much as 10 and pretty wide as well. They were all whole, not split in any way just cut to length and some rough spikes cut/ground off.Several of the reviews suggested they were split way to thin and because of that didn't last long. Since they weren't split at all and are all pretty thick that hasn't been a problem.Other reviews indicated they were old and dry. The complaint was that the splintered horribly. I'm always worried about that kind of thing so we try to supervise while our puppy is using his antler chews. We typically give him the chew for 1-2 hours once or twice a day. This makes it seem enough like a treat that he is always very excited. I picked one of the smaller pieces to start with, reasoning that if it splintered it would be easier to clean up. He's been working on it for a week and is laying at my feet gnawing on it right now. It looks like he's been able to worry down about an inch of it at the most so far. At this pace he'll be using this same antler next month. There has been no sign at all of splintering.If the other pieces hold up this well then this seems to be 4-6 months worth for a very good price.I'm sure some dogs will be more aggressive. Our previous dog was larger and could destroy pretty much any chew in no time. That's part of why we developed the habit of watching so closely with chews. It's possible dogs who have more powerful jaws and who are much more aggressive chewers could cause more wear or even splintering, but for now I'm extremely happy with these and hope to be able to keep getting the same value in a few months.

Don’t get fooled by the amount shown in the bag like I did, I got 3 bones for 2 dogs. But 2 of them were quite large.

This innocent looking puppy (11 months old) has destroyed everything except the Hartz bacon-flavored balls and Nylabone, and that is mostly because she doesn’t spend much time with them. If she actually loves a toy or bone, it is dead meat.I instinctively guessed that split antlers would not hold up as well, and it hasn’t, but quicker access to the middle makes it the first one she looks for. That said, all of the antlers have been a hit, and they haven’t fallen apart as she chewed on them. I am so relieved to find a product that I don’t have to replace daily!

I have two dogs that are 80 pounds who Really do enjoy chewing things, these last long time and are good quality. My dogs really do enjoy them as well.
